Tbh, I don't think it's all that difficult to get a lot of karma in short amount of time.

Just post something you think a lot of people will like, and that's it.

As long as what you post is striking, relatable, and overall powerful, karma will come on its own.

That said, in truth there is no real advantage in having it.

Randomly reminded of the time in my early 20s. I saw an apparently-homeless woman asking for food at an intersection near my place. I was going to a Subway anyway and asked what she wanted. Got her a sandwich and asked if I could sit and eat with her. I was going through a phase where I would give money/food/rides to folks like that; I wanted to learn how their situations came to be.

While sitting eating on the sidewalk together, her boyfriend came out of hiding and got indignant with me. Maybe because I could afford food and stuck around. So I took off. He did, too. While driving away, I saw another driver stop by her as she was still sitting eating, and he asked her "How much for a handjob?" She said, "I don't do that." Driver said, "Then what the hell was that guy [me] doing?" She said, "He was just being nice."

...I don't know what to make of it.
