I added the new list to the OP, thought I'd give this a refresh, to see the new must-have features GAF desires, and also to reflect on how far it's come.
Some are partically struck out as Sony updated chunks of some features (i.e. we have USB music, but not full media playback.)

Support for more bluetooth third party (even sony's own hardware) headsets/headphones/remotes. Kinda pissed off that my new 150 euro sony wireless bluetooth headphones can't connect to my ps4.
Glad to see so many of you want folders/better sorting options as much as I do. It's the only option I'm really feeling the absence of at the minute with this thing.
Yeah, and I can't think of any reason Sony would pursue it to be honest. Support for PS1/PS2 titles on the store though? I'd hope that's on the way tbh.

It's not impossible. They just prefer to sell you the same games you already own more than once.

1. Sorting/Folders. Games and apps should not be lumped together. The one, giant bar of games/apps is so bad, I can't believe it hasn't been fixed.
2. DNLA. I want to 'retire' my PS3. Gimme PS3 Media Server support on PS4.

I was going to add more Bluetooth support, but I'd like to know what the deal is exactly with the PS4 BT hardware, I had some trouble figuring out with a few googles if it even is compatible with older BT stuff. In other words I'm not sure if it's something they can patch or if we just have to live with it.
Well the Library filter is definitely an improvement. If they added Betas, Demos, DLC categories to it I think I'd be happy.

It will probably have downloaded but you'll have to install. They still make you do that. I guess out of an abundance of caution.

Are you referring to the thoroughly debunked claim that the PS4 can't play CDs?

Is the Share button still broken for some people? Fixing that was my #1 since launch. It's been working for me for about...6 weeks, I think, but I'm not about to assume it's fixed for everyone. Wouldn't want to be one of those "just press square" douchebags.

Definitely not fixed. It doesn't work for me. Legit has not worked at all the past 5 times I tried to use it. Either captures 15 seconds instead of 15 minutes or the square prompt to save the clip doesn't show up.

What game? I heard that some earlier games didn't get a capture "fix" but newer games are ok. Like everything from Battlefield on. I haven't had issues myself.

keep in mind, if you care, I am only counting the first 5 features that folks list. do more if you're passionate but if you care about voting, I take the top 5, and I'm ignoring things not on the list. no other way to do it really.

Also a note on each friend with the exact time / date you sent / received the friend request, in which game and if there as any message at the time. I often forget who is who from each forum on my friends list.

Short first sentence preview when I receive a message. It's a total waste of time leaving my game to visit the message app if the message just reads "want to play BF4?". You can just display that in the notification icon. Same when trophies pop too.
^ Similarly when you receive a party or game invite pressing the PS button doesn't take you away and into that app it just expands the notification icon with options like "Join party", "join game", also with a few pre-decided message replies like on iPhone and android for quick replying like "Okay", "In a little while", "Maybe later" etc.

The writing is so juvenile, is this a real news site? It almost sounds like I'm reading a The Onion article, but with bad writing.

I agree on both and would like to add the notifications on both friends online status change and friend app status change.
