Friend Notification - I wanna see when my friends come online.

ShareStream - A way for an entire party to stream at the same time and viewers can flip between the cameras to get multiple perspectives during online matches (Though I feel stuff like this would break psn)

Expanded Profiles - I feel like they should build off of social networks and turn the PSN profiles into one. Stuff like a section where you can add videos your 5 best gamer clips would be cool. Maybe a gallery of content like Instagram stuff like that.

The OS seems to be doing far more complex stuff in the backgroud such as video recording, downloading updates, I don't see why syncing can't be done as well.

Pretty much everything I wanted has now been added. My Apple TV takes care of all of my media (aside from 3D Blu Rays) so the only other feature I would be remotely interested in is suspend/resume. Friend notifications/grouping would be quite nice though. A darker flow theme would go down well too.

Sony's highest priority has to be stabilising PSN, it's reliability is just unacceptable for a paid service.

I actually find the rollover state for the Friends icon to be more egregious.

It will show you Friends right there, you can see without even a button press, but it's a truncated vertical list that shows maybe the first 3, with acres of real estate on either side, and it looks horribly unbalanced as well. Like just tile that shit, you have the info, we COULD be seeing Friends online with a mere rollover, but noooo.

Maybe they will fix it as the iOS app actually did some fixes like that.
