A thought just occurred to me (it's probably also occurred to other people), I'd love to see Uncharted get a similar treatment.

I agree, I think Uncharted could work great with short little story lines. I'd be all over that too.

I had to stop watching that Gamespot video. I already know I'm going to buy it, I don't want to see too much of Q4B and ruin it for myself.

Out of curiosity and this has probably been asked before, but is this game a stand alone PSN product or will this be an add on that is run through the original PS3 game?

That and the Birthday Cake celebrations... oh and the Happy Hours.

But right now things are good, had a Happy Hour a couple weeks ago, we're all leaving to see Dark Knight shortly (I saw it Tuesday night on IMAX as well) and next week we're going to the Pirate Dinner theatre to celebrate Q4B.

You guys deserve it.
You are one of the most consistently excellent developers in the industry but what really
sets you guys apart is the turn around time on your games. I still cant believe I will have
played R1, Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank Quest for Booty, and then R2 all within
2 years. That is absolutely staggering.

It's called pipelining and they are incredibly good at it :)

Has it been asked if Q4Booty will support trophies?

Unfortunately it won't. We were wrapping it up when we got the final specs, so we weren't able to get it in.

Fear not though, R2 and all future Insomniac games will feature them.

I hope you rethink your stance to not support your older games (and this one), a lot of PS3 gamers would appreciate trophies and would probably even bump up the sales of the already-released games.

So it's 4 hours for 15 dollars... and that's all right with GAF?

How time have changed ; just because it looks pretty doesn't mean shit.
MGS4 can be beaten in 4 hours. Most games seem to clock in at under 10 hours when you take out cutscenes. Heavenly Sword was ripped for being to short, but it's actually a longer game than MGS4 and maybe even Uncharted. Resistance is also like 8-10 hours on normal. Yeah...4 hours for $15 is a steal this gen. PEACE.

Seriously, just release a patch where some (20ish) of the skillpoints results in a trophie!

Come to think of it, I did all the skillpoints in RFOM to get the skull in MP, and I'm not sure I wanna do that again. :D

Question if you can answer, will weapons (upgrades) I've unlocked in R/C follow through to this addon?

This! My over poweredness must carry over! I will cry if I can't use my R.Y.N.O 4 EVER! :D

Nope, Ratchet starts with a few weapons, but is then unceremoniously shot into a cannon by some pirates and the sea claims them all... so you'll have to find weapons as you go.

My heart! It has been stabbed!

Hmm, not sure yet on which version to get. If prices are equal I should get the BD version, but on the other hand, it feels so weird that it's only 4 hours of gameplay. Maybe I'll get both if I'm in a good mood.

Why not just release another 2 or 3 of these tiny episodes on PSN and then, when all of them are released bundle them together on 1 Blu-ray Disc...

Lots 'o platforming and exploration early on.

And long-time Ratchet fans will be very pleased, I think.

Well that is cool will enjoy it my self.

*Still crying at the fact that won't be able to use the Ryno 4 ever.*

Surely if Naughty Dog and Criterion are patching in trophies to their previous games, you guys can too, right? Oh well...

its $15 game dude...
Super Stardust HD is a $10 game dude...

And it has been released a long, loooong time ago

I don't expect Insomniac to put trophies in right away, but you can always patch in some 15 or so later on, why not?

How in the hell does Insomniac do it?I mean 3 more games in the works....thats why they my favorite devs.
I thought trophies weren't supposed to take a lot of time to develop? If Quest for Booty has been released, surerly some people have time to create a couple of trophies?

They're my favourite developer too, but I still think this sucks. Insomniac being a great, hardworking team of developers doesn't mean we can't have any complaints.

I'm with FoxhoundNL on this.

Not that I pretend trophies to be there or mad at Insomniac for not adding them, but it strikes me as kinda odd that we are getting them in old games via a patch and not in a game which is still in development. Perhaps they can be patched in later?

Unfortunately their stance is "no trophies for games before R2" which is a flippin' shame. :'( Hopefully GAF can convince them otherwise. :p

I can see why they wouldn't want to put trophies into their past PS3 games, it'd probably be a lot of work and wouldn't really add much to the game as they already have skill points which are the same sort of thing.

I hope they still keep the Skill Points for future games as I like unlocking game content and behind the scenes stuff.
