This took a lot longer than I thought it would. Made from scratch in MS Paint.

Edit: Used different image host.

^ oooh.. nice~~!

Okay this will actually be my last one (for a while anyway... Dammit GAF, I need sleep!)

This isn't actually a favourite moment, but this game is etched in my memory because of how frustrated it made me. I really dislike having to dodge little objects in games. It makes me kind of anxious... and prone to mistakes.. :(
I was never able to beat this game, but I was very close a few times! (died on boss rushes). This was when I was about 7 or something though, and unfortunately, I bet I wouldn't be able to get even close today.

Although I'll always remember this game as a part of my childhood, I actually don't know much about (maybe because I didn't bother reading instruction manuals back then). This guys will always be known as "Orange Boss" (others include: Wood Boss, Octopus Boss, Eyeball Boss, etc..). I really liked using the Heavy Bomb for some reason, although I don't remember if it was 2 tonnes or 20 tonnes (I'm sure it had a 2!).

*siiiiighh* this is getting me so nostalgic. I hope they eventually put this on the Virtual Console... maybe I'll actually be able to beat it and find some closure. XD

What what what what what!

I played that game on arcade back in 1986 or so, when I was in Hawaii... What game is it?

Kid Niki, remember to check the url of the pic.

Here`s ja quickie contribution for the SotC-love! Never has a game accomplished to simulate mass, speed and SCALE as the Third Colossus. I will remember the first hit till I die. These are the moments we play games right?!

(i might enhance it later. [I curse the gods for not owning a PC...]

That picture is lovely! Too bad it is technically cheating, though.

Maybe we should do another topic for non-MS Paint pics. Didn't we have a "video game art" topic a while back to post in anyway?

Many I would have done have already been done. Specifically the Silent Hill ones. So I'll choose:

First time I completed that level. I did it with less than a second remaining.

Expert level 7? Man, that evil EVIL level still gives me nightmares. The little ramp at the beginning looked so innocent but it was the beginning of my own videogaming hell (in a good way).

btw some of you rock at MS Paint.

Heh, nah, not EX7. That is one hell of a tough level though. But nothing compared to Master 9.

I feel kind of stupid for purposely making my picture bad. Some of the stuff here is really fantastic.

Although this wasn't really meant to be an MS Paint talent show. :lol

I used to spend hours daydreaming about the mysteries behind the Owl and the Windfish... Then the Owl reappeared in OoT... with more cryptic messages... and it happened all over again. <3

The really amazing ones are those who don't trace or use too much artificiality.. the true 'oekaki' style ones. You have people drawing from memory and the weird choices they make are so more interesting than talent.
