(truth is, when Paint was all I knew, I rather enjoyed it - but I just can't go back now. To do something decent, it's not like drawing to me - it's more like problem solving)

I'll come clean; I am a pixel artist by trade for a games company, so a good portion of my problem-solving career is to work with minimal palettes in as effective a way as possible. This is the first time I've tried it with predefined palettes (even though MS Paint does allow you to change your colours, I've refrained from doing it every time so far) but not the first time I've worked with fewer than 16 colours each time.
Either way drawing these pictures is such a refreshing and fun challenge to me. If I do it enough I'll probably have the motivation to get back into Painter/Paint shop Pro!

If you pressed the wrong button in the escape pod in the original Space Quest, you crashed into the castle's moat from King's Quest.
This kind of looks like a space type standing next to a medieval castle. :lol
