By taking videos, slowing them down and comparing how weapons act against static objects vs moving targets, for example. Whenever it was a moving target the weapon would suddenly behave differently and take them out if the shot was close enough. The only thing that I couldn't get it to assist with was when you aim at the noose of someone hanging
I just went back to my X and tried it out right now. There is literally zero snapping occurring in expert aim mode. So don't try to bullshit anybody,

What do I gain from lying? Why are you so hostile? I made a GIF of it back in 2011 or so, It's a shame I can't find it now.

No idea. But it’s a fact that you are incorrect, that’s all I’m saying. Feel free to prove your point tho.

I want no part in the pc v console debate, I just want the new story content the pc version is getting to be released as a free update for consoles, if not day and date, then shortly after. Fingers crossed.

Great, now you can all experience that slow ass game in super high resolution.
You could speed up and slow down animations in GTAV by editing game files (reload speeds for example, not to mention all of the mods that totally changed speeds with super hero characters etc). With any luck it's the same sort of thing. It'd make simple interactions less cumbersome

That would indeed be cool and make the game playable for me.

Finally they are doing it! Just imagine how much people can do with RP servers of this game and how interesting would it be. Just imagine improved graphics and all new features. I'm even ready to buy it in Rockstar launcher (but I'll do it on Steam).

Everyone knew this was coming to PC. Rockstar purposefully lied in order to get people to buy the console instead of holding off for the PC release. They've been real shady lately

Just like they did with GTA V, released it first on console and on PC some time later.

Ummmm.

I'm a mouse/keyboard crusader. The Xbox 360 was almost irrelevant to me because its flagship genre (FPS) was dog shit with a gamepad. I watch in dismay and disgust as people buy $400 game systems with $60 games plus costs of DLC so they can play a game which they don't even know they can't control properly.

I find it INSANE.

But it's even more insane than that to propose that mouse/keyboard is better than a controller for platforming games. The above example makes about as much sense as suggesting that you drive with two feet so both the gas and brake has a foot on it at all times. BETTER CONTROL, AMIRITE?

I cannot fathom that the person who wrote this ever actually beat any 2D or 3D Mario or Sonic in his suggested fashion. It sounds like someone who tested a keyboard in Green Hill Zone Act 1 for two minutes and said "yep, it's better!"

In a 3D platformer, where 3D movement accuracy is critical, what are you going to do? Move using the arrow keys and control the camera with the mouse?

Go back to school and play Super Mario 64, then try again.
That's Exactly how a shooter is working yet everyone will tellyoi m kb is better for shooters. Wtf did you write lol

I know you're just trying to come up with examples, but to get the most out of a car your left foot is needed to brake at times. You use it to reign in wheel spin or understeer and to induce oversteer depending on the situation. I live in a place covered in ice most of the year and drive a pretty powerful rear-drive car. When you have almost zero traction you use everything you have available. I'd bet that there are thousands of accidents a year that would have been avoided had the driver known how to left foot brake.

It doesn't change the fact though that a controller, especially one with paddles mapped to the face buttons, works better for platformers than a mouse and keyboard. Given platformers are by and large designed around using a controller this isn't exactly surprising.

Since I'm far from my PC until early january because of my work, I'm fine with waiting for the Steam release. And I already told him that I wanted it on Steam (but honestly as far I don't get it on the EGS, it does not matter to me).
I was wondering where you were in the PC screenshot thread. I saw you'd posted in the console thread and thought maybe you'd jumped ship :messenger_grinning_smiling:

I will never do that 😁 but I took my PS4 to have something to play (and I'm really enjoying my time with God of War). And of course RDR II is announced now that I won't be home until January 😭

Couldn't find a proper thead for this but this is as good as any:
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!
I need a rockstar launcher installed and logged now to play gta v single player on steam?! SAY WHAT?! On a game I've bought years ago?!
Same with how they removed gta iv music for a game I've had for years. This is unacceptable and I have no idea how is this legal. I am enraged... like a lot right now

You always needed the rockstar launcher to launch GTA V... they just renamed the damn thing.

You are right actually!
Sorry for that... I've not played gta V on pc IN A LONG time and was surprised by this launcher thing.... and it sucks too. First, the game launched only in black screen. Then it ran only 800x600 windowed.... I had to delete the launcher local saves for it to make it possible to save settings again. Somehow, the launcher cloud thing broke everything.
Then I've discovered that the antialiasing is TERRIBLE on dx11. MSAA don't work and the road lines and alpha textures all are broken and shimmer. And that is at 4k on my 4k monitor.... Thankfully dx10.1 totally solved the issue and even msaa x2 solves all aa issues...
It's surprising also that dx10.1, mssaa x2, 3200x1800 and all possilbe settings maxed out only yield about 50-60fps but 40-60freesync helps here a lot.
... all in all - Let's hope rdr2 is better...

I don't know if this is beating a dead horse around here, but I unfortunately agree. My main issue was that you spent so much time on a horse travelling around, and for me it was tediously boring. Granted, you do that in GTA too, but it's actually fun to drive around in those games. The horse is not, and it lead me to dreading when a mission would popup in a far away town.

I think I finally broke when I had been riding on the horse for like 15 real minutes, and I asked myself, am I having fun at all? No? Then why am I doing this to myself? Turned off the game and never touched it since.

If a 1060 is recommended then hopefully a 2080 can pull over 100 frames, it's going to look and feel great

Does anyone know if there’ll be a pre-load? 150 GB will take me 30 hrs to download.
