A few days ago, NCS was selling a couple of Japanese and US refurbished PS3's for a good price.. I managed to swipe the 325$ one.. (translates to an awesomely cheap 260 including shipping)
Now I'm wondering who else on GAF bought the others, as I'm sure they're lurking here. And also, are you worried? I won't have any warranty, and its a repaired machine with a broken HDD lid.. I know that the failure rate on these things is rather low, and a broken hinge isn't anything that'll kill me. Still..
I didn't buy any games yet, as I'm saving for a new Macbook Pro, and with Persona3 and Bioshock out soon, I've got enough to play.. but for that pricepoint I couldn't not do it.
300$ is definately the sweet spot. : )
