Not only is he blatantly lying and the claim is not true, but it probably will never be true. In a year it will be laughable since he probably won't have much for multiplatform support, or if he does it will be the vastly inferior version.
Of course, most Nintendo fans won't care either way since most people buy a Nintendo just for 1st party games it seems. But it would be really damn nice to have a system that can play mostly everything...multiplatform games AND first party games as well as the competition or better. Right now we haven't seen much besides the controller that shows it's any different than a current gen, 7 year old system.
I bought a Wii U for Xmas, but it will probably be my niche system once again. Dusty in between 1st party releases. I'm really sick of this from Nintendo consoles and want it to stop.

I don't even blame Dicer for reacting the way he's reacting, he's been conditioned by gaming "journalism" to be nothing more then a PR extension of the publisher, so when a news source doesn't do such a thing it can be a traumatic experience

One thing is "when you see the graphics you will say wow"(cit. Iwata) or "you might be surprised of the graphics" which means all and nothing at the same time, and another thing is say a plain lie in clear terms without any sort of interpretation that can save your ass in the case they spot you.
