Oh come on!
Is it released on US Steam yet? Don't want to waste a VPN trial login.
Eurogamer review said:There are only a few of these scenes in the game, but they're surprisingly affecting. The idea of having your private thoughts tossed around like salad in a bowl is unsettling to begin with, and the actors and animators who give life to the scenes that follow Nilin's remixes often send lumps up your throat. Killing in games rarely feels personal, but the kind of mental damage you do in Remember Me stayed with me after I switched off the console.
The first half of the game draws all these ideas together pretty well. We're used to games that show how technology can lead society astray, but Dontnod's portrayal feels sharp and relevant; keep on turning your blind eye, letting them sacrifice your liberty for security while pacifying you with new technology, it seems to say, and you won't like what happens.
I trust Eurogamer reviews because they're smartly written; perhaps the best in the business. Here are two paragraphs from their review that would have sold me on the game if I wasn't already.

I want to support games like this.
Good review, but man I am still torn on this...when I watch your first gameplay video for example, and you see the city landscape behind the statue and all,I whish you could go to the top floor of that skyscraper in the background,or at least close to it...the fact that you can't and that most reviews say it's in fact the opposite is a big disappointment to me...I know they never said it was open world but from the early trailers and all,I thought it would let you explore a bit...
Still the atmosphere looks great, the music is awesome and it's a new IP I would like to see succeed...also,console or PC or rental...
Watched the first hour of this game. I like a lot about it, but the dialogue is already surprisingly bad. A lot of it is fighting game tier cliche. I can deal, and the MC sounds great, but goddamn.

This game gives me the vibe that if you can overlook its flaws, you will most likely have a satisfying experience.
So Steam tells me its now available...and so does the store page...but I can't play. The game files are still stuck as a completed pre-load or something.
You hated Dishonored? Really?I trusted Jim right until Dishonored. Now I like to listen and try to poke apart what may or may not be something I'd like.
Hating Dishonored has kept me from Hitman Absolution.
Binary Domain, my fav of last year, is only a 68/100 on metacritic. That was the watershed moment for reviews and I.
Sales wise,. You're right there
Do you live in PAL region? I have the same thing, but it's released in 3 days so Steam doesn't unlock it up until then.
I say this with every release, but region-locking the release of digital content is stupid as hell. I have to wait 3 more days just because I live in Europe. Rediculous.
