Resident Evil 3 Remake: Datamine May Suggest Switch Port.

In amongst a list of prompts and in-menu text for Resident Evil 3 Remake, there’s a set of notifications that are specific to each version you’re playing on. “This game has an autosave feature, please do not turn off your” prompts and so forth followed by listing Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC — all very expected. What’s a lot less expected, however, is the inclusion of the Nintendo Switch, a system the game is most definitely not releasing for at the moment.

On top of that, there are also references to visiting each platform’s digital storefront; Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, etc. Nintendo Switch Eshop is also listed here.

Honestly if this game comes to the Switch via cloud, Switch owners are better off buying the game on other platforms. Paying some cash to play the game for a couple of months and later lose the license is not a good deal.

RE3 runs on GPD Win 2 with low settings at a very low resolution, 1280*600 but with 50% resolution scale. GPDW2 also have a CPU with double of clock. It would be very hard to port on Switch.

Yeah, if Resident Evil 2 Remake didn't make it to Switch, there's no way 3 with it's higher enemy count and larger environments is going to happen on Switch without a streaming solution.
