Wiimote aim is cheating anyway.

Isn't that kinda like saying Mouse controls are cheating over Dual Analog then?

RE4 wasn't designed with IR controls in mind but it also wasn't specifically designed against them.

It's definitely a lot easier, but in the end feels funner.

Played this on Gamecube, Wii, Switch and little on PC... best was/still is Wii. Maybe I should play this again on Wii U, my wiiremote is itching something great after Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Absolutely! Use a controller, people. Unless it's Mercenaries, where it's about high scores and you deserve every advantage.

Wii I think. Because of the wii remote.

ps4 and switch are a close second...switch being portable is awesome but ps4 is rock solid in performance

gamecube, the OG experience gets third

Capcom not giving us pointer controls for the Switch was such a bitch move. I'd say the Wii version is the best but it does make the game a whole lot easier. If you want to reexperience the game/tension maybe go with PC or the Switch.

I would have settled for Splatoon-style gyro, but not even that.

Fucking insulting.

The Switch version I know for a fact has a bug with the QTEs. The amount of times I failed on the Switch version made no sense. I've played Resi 4 a ridiculous amount of times on many different systems and I never had issues with QTEs. I died 13 times in a row on the section with the giant statue. There's no way I wasn't tapping fast enough. I've never had trouble on speed tapping on anything. It was like it wasn't registering my inputs. Whether it's been fixed since, I'm not sure but there was definitely something wrong. I know this game well enough.

I first finished it on GameCube. Many years go by and I've owned it on like 6 different platforms. Most recently I finished it on the Switch. I played during my lunch break at work. It was an excellent time playing anywhere on the go. If you're out and going places then get it on the Switch because it's awesome playing it wherever you're at. Especially if you stay at a lodge or a national park. (y)

PS4 version has a really bad bug when you hit (or get hit can't remember exactly) with an explosion, the laser sight "wobble" for aiming seems to speed up about twice as quick so its really hard to aim, you need to hit (or get hit) with another explosion to bring it back to regular aiming speed. So don't get than even though its 1080/60

I played the current gen version on x1. I also tried it on ps4 and bothversions ran super smooth. I also played on pc and wii but for this game I prefer the x1/ps4 version. One of my top games of all time so I play all versions of it.

The graphics for the RE4 Remastered HD version on xbox 360 that I've played is unbelievable. Looks incredible, plays incredible, is incredible

RE4 and the gamecube controller are a match made in heaven though....played like a dream when I had bought it 2004

Original Gamecube version, on a CRT.
Immediately after Wii version or Ultimate PC version with Albert HD Mod.
Then PS4, One and Switch, then PS3 and 360, then PS2 and lastly original PC version.
