Oh ya...forgot about that.

I just mean in terms of iconic faces, REmake Jill has the most iconic face in the series that is based on a real person that they could recapture. A face people could see and instantly go, "oh shit it's that Character!"
I usually get to the ship at around 2 hours. The ship takes around 15-25 minutes depending on how fast you are with grabbing what you need and just getting to Ethan. My slowest speed run is around 3:35 (normal) and my best is around 3:08 (easy mode). Grab every remote bomb you can, it'll help with clearing the last section of the ship and the mines.
I finished with the tape on the boat at the 3 hour mark. You can literally run through the salt mines. Use every remote bomb you have on the 2 fat molded to clear that path.
Also there are times where you get free health. Like don't heal in the mia fight cause going to the baker house is a free heal. Also save Mia to avoid a boss battle on the boat.
I was also going for 100% on my speed run so if you're not doing it, you'll be golden.
So, REDFIELD at the end is a clone of Chris Redfield, who the real Chris Redfield married. Got it.
Also, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that Eveline looks like Chucky from the Childs Play movies, LOL.
Maybe it's Mia's? She has it in the ship VHS, but not in present day. Finally got the platinum yesterday.
Though I'm a little confused, it was Zoe who reattached Ethan's hand, right? So then where did that watch thing come from? Is she working with the third party or something?
Pfff, you're totally right. Also, I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that Eveline looks like Chucky from the Childs Play movies, LOL.

I can see it.

Asked this in the main thread but didn't get an answer:
What's up with the "flashback" that shows Ethan talking to cured Jack about what's going on? How is it possible for that to have fit in the timeline?
Their consciousness is now part of a hive mind, thanks to the mold infection in their brains. The good part of them is stuck living inside Eveline, until Ethan fucks her shit up.

How's the Magnum? I'm currently on Marguerite on my Madhouse run and I could afford to buy it, but as I have the Albert with enhanced rounds I'm not sure if it's worth it?
If not how about the attack upgrade?

Game doesn't clearly explain this, but it's the first thing I thought when I saw it and fits well enough for me (and I'm pretty sure it's what they intended, too).
Played like two hours of Ethan Must Die straight and finally got the greenhouse key, only to die immediately after LOL.
Another question- Ethan is/was infected right? Don't see how he could have a fully functional hand without some level of regenerative abilities and Evie can only talk through hallucinations when you are infected.
Yes.
So is Umbrella just evil to be evil now?
usually when a fictional corporation is an antagonist in media, they usually have some type of "noble" goal, its just the methods they use to try to achieve that is wrong
What was Umbrella's vision/goal, i mean why create these things, what did they founders originally want?
What do you think of the mode?
For us PC players who have to wait.
Iiirc the original intention was to create the ability to have regenerative factors and also for its mutative ability to make supersoldiers but it led to the outbreak. Decades after the outbreak, knowing how bad things can get when they go south, they are still trying to create new even more powerful stuff, only now as weapons, that have absolutely terrible side effects while knowing about those said side effects. And they do fuckall to contain it asap despite seemingly having tons of resources, manpower and firepower. So is Umbrella just evil to be evil now?

It just seems obvious to me that Chris' dumb appearance was just to say "Look, it really was a Resident Evil game", and they probably rushed to get a face-captured model for him because he wasn't a big part of the plot.
But he's the protagonist in 'Not A Hero', whatever that turns out to be.
I think Ethan contacted Umbrella before he went to get Mia. Either him or Lucas. Because there isn't anything that happens that would warrant them being on-site so quickly with the monstrous Eveline fight. But then again the watch that is being used by Ethan could be the cause too, because "Redfield" contacts him on it to use the Albert. I also feel the line a Ethan uses with him asking what took them so could be indicative to Ethan contacting them

I think one of the Bakers takes a photo of a Umbrella helicopter, right? So perhaps they were just being surveyed, then when all hell broke loose Chris and Co. intervened. Could also have to do with the reports of supernatural activity - maybe they had a look when the police were tipped off.
Dude, RE1 had Zombie Sharks. They were always a lolevil corporation.
It doesn't seem like the companies in RE7 are original games Umbrella though. Probably some spin-off or competitor.
Curious though, are there any instances in the REverse of Bioweapons working as intended? There seems to be much more 'catastrophic failures' than cases of their usage as effective weapons of war.
So apparently the RE Wiki is saying the 'Umbrella Coporation' from the end is the same as Umbrella Corps? http://residentevil.wikia.com/wiki/Umbrella_Corps
Man, someone really has to help me make sense of all the competing organizations in REverse. It doesn't help that early on one faction (which HCF was under) was only referred to euphemistically as 'the rival corporation'. Also is 'the third party' mentioned by the Umbrella guys over the radio Wesker's outfit?
What i mean is, what did Spencer, Marcus and Ashford originally want when they established Umbrella

I really did like the Eveline = Grandmother reveal. It was done so subtly.
She's completely harmless, fades into the background in all the cutscenes except to suddenly be left out in a hallway as a jump scare. Then after the mines you see an old wooden version of her wheelchair, right before the flashback with you and Mia plays and you realise "Fuck, I was inches away from the lab that explained everything all the way back then".
Then you pick up the photo you saw first time around, except the innocuous "E-001" caption has an entirely new meaning.
I'm sure there's a well defined in-canon reason, but the first thing that comes to mind when looking at that image is immortality. A super-body. Experimenting with DNA to create an ultimate life-form.
So is it better to do a speedrun first to get the defense bonus and circular saw and then do Madhouse ? Or is it better to just do madhouse straight away after first playthrough?
Cause some encounters I just don't know how you can do them in Madhouse with the shitty handgun and extremely limited ammo for power weapons. Like the fights with fat molded and also the fight with Marguerite.
