I like Chris' redesign! The game is clearly an artistic reboot for the series so beloved characters were obviously going to look a little different. I think he looks like an older version of ReMake.

People this is not Chris Redfield. This is a soldier that shows up at the end of the game, to pick up the hero and his wife. And he calls himself Redfield.
But the kicker is, when the chopper flies away, you see it's an Umbrella Corporation helicopter. They are back, and the RE7 people who are infected will be used to create new bioweapons for Umbrella.
Jesus I didn't see the disclaimer. I am profoundly sorry about that. The excitement from the spoiler thread got to me, and I was under the impression that his was an everything goes thread. Still the information up there might be falsified as it comes from 4Chan.
Tried to tell him, he didn't care. Now a bunch of people will be spoiled that don't even enter the thread, the title is enough to spoil the fact that there even is a cameo, not to mention the weak-willed souls that will wander in out of curiosity.

There's no way that's actually Chris. Vendetta and RE7 in the same year with completely opposite designs for Chris as an intentional thing? Not even Capcpom are that oblivious.
I'm going with the theory that it's Hunk or a pretender piggybacking off a well-known name. This would be wildest shit in the franchise's history and they've done some real dumb shit over the last few years.
It's also a bit dumb that a helicopter with Umbrella in big ass letters on the side would just fly around the country without anyone taking notice or issue with it.
I was coming in here to say something along these lines. Capcom has had a spotty record with faces since Jill in Revelations 1. I don' really understand what happened there (or here with this guy, because the face looks really odd).
