Sounds pretty fucking dumb. Has to be real then.
Jovovitch confirmed that "Old Alice" is not a flashback or a scene into the future, so this script is pretty much real.
The Umbrella corp. founder, ladies and gentlement:
I like these movies somewhat but this really does sound like a fanfic or something. Written by someone named Alice.
Wait Old Alice? So Alice over the entire series has been a clone all along?

I really cant... the first 2 movies are some of my favorite action flicks but after the 3rd one the dumb story got dumber and dumber.
Ugh.
This is immensely disappointing given how the last movie ended. I thought this one would open with Wesker and co punching Mutalisks.
I saw the first one like 10 years ago and I didn't even know they put the game characters in the movies![]()
So what they're saying is that they could only get the actors for Wesker and Claire but couldn't even get the actors for Jill/Ada/Leon/Chris/Rain so they decide to kill them off-screen instead.
I get that the Resident Evil games have been catching up with the ridiculousness of the Resident Evil movies, but you'd think there would be a time traveling twist. Seems like Capcom would object to Jill/Chris/Leon/Ada getting killed off, especially off-screen.
Li Bingbing as Ada Wong was semi-confirmed by Milla herself in the first stages of the film.
Wentworth Miller flatout DROPPED out of the Chris Redfield role. Everyone thought they were going to write Chris out of the story rather than recast him.
Suddenly. Milla stopped mentioning Li Bingbing and would not answer any questions about Chris, Ada, Jill and Leon.
Jill's actress went silent on reprising her role.
Filiming already begun and the full cast was officially revealed by Sony and Leon, Ada, Chris and Jill's are nowhere to be found.
All of this adds up and soldifies this even more. Sadly.
If I were the director right now I would can the whole thing and start over.
this leak is bad

Profitable mediocrity, mind you.
Yikes. Sounds like Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich's pregnancy totally screwed up scheduling AND story. The only upside is Claire since I think Ali Larter was pregnant at the original production time and her role seems to have expanded.-Li Bingbing as Ada Wong was semi-confirmed by Milla herself in the first stages of the film.

Sounds like last minute budget cuts.
In September 2012, a sixth film in the "Resident Evil" series was confirmed by the head of Sony Pictures distribution, Rory Bruer, with Milla Jovovich attached to reprise the role of Alice.[1]
In December 2012, director Paul W. S. Anderson confirmed that he would be directing "Resident Evil 6,". He stated that it would be the last film in the series and some characters from the first two films would return.[3]
In June 2013, Jovovich tweeted that the sixth film, which had been scheduled for a September 12, 2014 release, would not be released before 2015.[4] The film was scheduled to start shooting in late 2013. [5]
In April 2014, while speaking at the Beijing International Film Festival, Anderson revealed that he would soon be writing the screenplay for the sixth film in the series. He also confirmed that the film would be in 3D and that actress Li Bingbing would be returning to play Ada Wong.[7]
In June 2014, Anderson announced the film's working title to be "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" and confirmed that it was intended to be the final film in the series. He also revealed that half the script had been completed, but, as yet, there were no shooting or release schedules.[8] Filming was set to begin in South Africa in August 2014 but was delayed for a year because Jovovich was pregnant.[9][10]

Their baby basically killed off almost the entire franchise's cast.

Thank god too, every movie has been shit after the 1st one.Seems like they just wanted to end the series as quick as possible
Shooting literally JUST begun. That's a 2 year delay. Something happened.
