My gaming PC consists of a 8800GTS, 4GB of memory and a 3GHz Core 2 Duo and I run Crysis on a mix of medium and high settings at ~30 fps and while it looks damn, damn good, and overall probably better than anything else out there (bar the odd framerate bomb here and there), I didn't think the character models were as good as the majority of MGSIV, Nariko and Kai in Heavenly Sword (at least in the cutscenes, and I should mention Bohan really as well) and even Nathan Drake in Uncharted. Technically I'm sure they're probably not as detailed on paper but I much prefer them. Crysis for me was all about the vegetation and water and the environment in general. Maybe the character models just didn't stand out as much because the rest of the game looked so good.
Resistance 2 certainly isn't up there with any of them for me though I must say, and is nowhere near the best ever imo. They look good and are cleverly rendered on limited resources (meaning they can throw a huge number round at once as the game shows), but really, nowhere near some of the other games mentioned as far as I am concerned.
