yeah. I didn't hear them specifically say no local multiplayer but I don't see any options for it in the menu.
i think same screen co-op would be best for this.

They could just split the screen in the middle of the cylinder, so one person takes the top and the other the bottom

The presenter was joking with them about finding a trailer for Dead Nation at the end of Resogun and later, after not being able to get to the end of boss 2, at the end of the second level. The devs laughed about it and the Ign guy said something like, "Too late, there's already a thread on Neogaf confirming it." There is no Dead Nation 2 teaser or anything, the IGN guy was just giving the developers a hard time.

It's certainly not its own reason to buy a PS4, but it's the game I'm 2nd most hyped for. I'm going to play Killzone, then I'm going to play this. Everything else is just icing.

If it's 5 levels, but 5 different phases to a level it'll be just like Super Stardust.

If SSD/HD are anything to go by, Endless mode will be where the meat of the game is.
