It's pure bullshit. I've never heard of this guy before reading about it on a news article. You would think that such "an internet phenomenon" as described in the artice would have been discussed here or at SA or any other internet forum.

It was the same thing with LonelyGirl15. Nobody had heard about her until news articles started talking about her. I havent heard ANYTHING about her and that guy on any of the forums i visit. Not a peep, nothing. Mainstream medias are always weeks (if not months) behinds internet stuff sometimes, just think about Chuck Norris, Snake on a Plane, Mahir,
ORLY, All your base are belong to us, and etc. When they reached the media, they had already reached their peak and were on their way down

Now, somehow, we learn about those new "super popular internet phenomenons" from random newspapers article..

It's bullshit.
Yeah, I agree -- it definitely seems too good to be true. Either way, it's still amusing and scary :lol.

How could this story be fake?

It seems pretty unlikely that this dude planned the followowing: 'Let me make a ridiculous resume/film, then post it on some sites, and then PRETEND it was laughed at by the internet community. Some news sites will pick up up, and voila'.

In any case, I bet he'll do well for himself, he's gotten some exposure that sometimes that's all that counts.
