We know how to make a sequel to Rime, but it wouldn’t literally be Rime 2 – more like a spiritual successor to Rime. But are we going to make it? I don’t know. Maybe one day we can come back but for now it’s too soon – anyone who has finished Rime, maybe they’ll understand why. For us, it was a very very big journey and it was very intense​

I really hope they'll make a sequel someday cuz i really liked Rime a lot even though it wasn't perfect.

The game was however recently removed from the official Xbox One X enhanced list and we reached out to Tequila Works, which confirmed that there are no current plans to release an Xbox One X patch for RiME. Disappointing news for sure, though it should be said that Tequila Works is a small studio with limited resources and that certainly factored in this decision.

You owe it to yourself to at least try it. The game is fantastic. It isnt going to blow you away graphically but the art direction is superb. The lack of detail is intentional and im not sure a 4k patch would do it justice as a result.

I just recently got to play this game (lttp, I KNOW) but man... what a ride. Completed it over the weekend. Super fun and relaxing game, with gorgeous visual art-style. Can only recommend it, if you haven't tried it. Although it runs pretty terrible at some points (can't even imagine the switch version)... played it on my base Xbox One.
