Damn, that's a lot cheaper than I was expecting.

Day one for sure and the footage is looking damn good, but I'll never, ever be able to take advantage of the six player splitscreen.

It'll just sit there taunting me...

Their twitter/youtube says that they added more "details" and changed a few things for the X1 version.

Not sure what. I'm in for $5. My kids/wife can have fun with this. My 7 year old will love it.

It was fairly fun on PC if you are particularly into water teaching games (i am). I wouldn't double dip unless I had enough reason.

no online sucks, game is still great fun but it's soured the triple dip for me.

You control the acceleration in the XB1 version (right trigger).

you can toggle on and off the auto acceleration on android too when using a controller.

I like it. Rpg-lite xp upgrade systems always get me, no microtransactions that I can see but I like it. It's £4… looks real nice too

I would have paid 15 for online. I've already played the PC version, so I don't have much reason to double dip, if any.

You will need to reply some races a bit to get enough income for upgrades and the new motors, not sure if the income was changed any from the android version.

Quick tip - I've noticed that you're normally quicker by avoiding the jumps as you don't lose time in the air. You miss out on boost, sure, but it seems to give a quicker lap that way.

I'm not seeing any noticeable changes at all. Visuals looks basically the same to me. Still fun. Hoping for an online patch.

I loved HTH so this was a no-brainer. It's a lot of fun so far just 2 series in. I hope these guys are working on another Hydro Thunder.

I can't help but think back to the Wake Race demo from Rare thinking they should have made a full arcade-like game out of it.

After playing a little bit of it, you can tell that it's a port of a mobile game, but I recommend it for five bucks if you really dug the Jet Moto and/or Hydro Thunder games (and ironically, it feels like you're playing a sixth generation game, which is pretty cool)
