Voice acting could use some work lol. It doesn't have to be grimdark but it's a little kiddy sounding right now lol. Especially Chel.
They need a map in a ruined city, fighting by some big buildings will help show the scale.

I can see how the controls might be so-so for a controller, but I think they work fantastically with a keyboard. And now, I'm picturing hardcore competitors bringing their own keyboards to EVO.

I've finally been able to level up and reach Silver Tier V. I wasn't able to get out of the Carbon Tier I because of the disconnection problems. So glad that the netcode is working really well and I have yet to experience a laggy match and this is just the Alpha! GGPO3 is the future!

I dunno. The first time I tired RT, I went in cold with Edge and a Chel player just endlessly combed me to death. Couldn't block her lows etc. I figured it out in training after that, but that was a rough introduction. Felt like Marvel.
As it is right now, RT seems more about waiting and punishing everyone who wants to hit buttons in every situation. Wakeup dp punish is king.
That's every fighting game when playing against inexperienced players.

Yeah. That's a great place to start.
Though throwing cheerios with Crow then walking up and throwing people is pretty amazing too.
Pretty sure his slide is a free throw on block. Not 100% though.
Dauntless has a lot of tools that he doesn't need extreme combos, the ones he has does plenty of damage and can setup for resets.
I have a spare code, so anyone that quotes this post and says they want a code gets it.
But I mean, compared to chell who also has a lot of tools, but much more damaging combos it just sucks to see your health get eviscerated in 3 combos, while it takes a number for you to do the same. Almost like Im playing Yang again...

Dauntless has way superior normals than Chel, great throw setups and throw combos, and his super is like free damage. The B&Bs I use with him are also decent damage with no meter needed, what are you using?
That said he took more time to start getting wins with than Chel.
I use revolving hook, so I dont get high dmg midscreen. mid I go low strong into rush punch, or extend it after with strong, fierce, rush punch. close up ill do some lights into her dp.

I know the defaults, I switched to a 360 pad because I hate using keyboard even if the controls are decent for it. Just sad I can't put throws and supers on a key combo so I can keep rocking my stick, just used to it for fighting games :|

I only use it because it makes her rush punch a bit safer. I should just switch to the other variant.
Turned it on and found out they gave edge a fireball. Why? He was already a beast.
Now i am having an even harder time as Talos.

Online seems to stutter less but holy crap i was matched up against someone with 600 ping playing as Talos.

Edge honestly seems like the best character in the game. Or at least has the potential to be.

I don't know, his long sword range is made up by the fact that it has a delay, so has areas which can be punished.
