No, it falls under the Eurogamer umbrella of websites I believe (they're either owned by or exclusively partner with EG). It's a PC-centric site.

This hurts RPS waaaay more than it does Penny Arcade, but you know what? Good on them anyways. Sometimes you have to do what's right because it's right, not if it falls in line with company finances.

It's been there for quite a while. The more we learn about human sexuality and gender identity, the more we realize how complex it is. The "Q" helps to start to cover those who don't easy fit into any of the LGBT categories.
You do realize that adding those two zeros automatically makes a "four" into "four hundred", right?
Not really sure that's a fitting comparison. In the case of PAX, you've got an event that pronounces itself as being inclusive to all gamers, and then you have one of its two founders saying things that go against that inclusiveness.

In fact, could someone summarise all the stupid and 'controversial' things RPS have done in recent years* so folk like myself could get up to speed? I know of the dickwolves thing and their Kickstarter campaigns, but that's about it.

I get your point though and I agree. It's silly to pick a single issue to get offended over when virtually every company is guilty of doing something scummy. They wouldn't have a site if they boycotted them all.

Really? Maybe I've mentally blocked out the coverage, but I never thought RPS covered non-UK games conventions to any degree anyway. They repost any big news after the fact, but that's about it (and presumably they'll do the same thing here, unless they're going to pretend any announcements made at PAX aren't canon).
RPS have the gall to have a female writer (Kara), and a bunch of their sexist readers took issue with the fact she referred to herself as a woman, and claimed it was "rubbing her gender in their faces". That was pretty eye-opening.
