RDR, yeah! single player dlc won't happen. If it was, it would have already been released.

I'm worried too. I know there are probably many who dream of an always connected online GTA but it's my worst nightmare.
I'm probably the only person who owns GTA V that's never even been online with it.

Obviously, a new Red Dead would be great, but I'd also like to see a new Manhunt. Once you look past the gritty, ultraviolent exterior there's a pretty challenging and rewarding stealth game.
New Read Dead is definitely going to happen. Bully 2 possibly.
As for a new GTA? GTAVI? Man...I don't know about that. While it released close to 3 years ago, it still feels pretty fresh to me. Depends on when it comes out. If they announce it and don't release it until I don't know 2018? I can see that working out well.

My understanding is the Housers pushed back hard on GTAV Online and really wanted the story to take the prominent position.
Even though GTAV has done well, I don't think that means Rockstar will be deincentivizing single player. If anything, they'll just spend more time on both.
There was a video of someone playing GTAV VR and honestly it was kind of hard to stomach. Something about seeing a person lift their arm and a realistic gun comes up, pulls the trigger, and a realistic looking persons body goes limp was really chilling.
I don't know how much you really would want a Manhunt VR.
I expect (by expect I mean hope) Rockstar will pull a similar situation with Red Dead Whatever that Bethesda did with Fallout 4's announcement. Announced with some clear gameplay showcase, a good trailer and released within a few months. I mean, Roackstar are one of the biggest names in gaming so they can pretty much do whatever and it will sell, I hope that's the case, though.

it's insane that GTAO not only hasn't declined but hasn't even plateaued and is still growing...
not surprising because I play the game weekly since PS3 release haha but still it's crazy just how well their RMT currency sells.
On the other hand, considering how exploited GTAO was in its early days, they could maybe one separate economies and a 'fresh start.'
Also depends on what they choose to do with SP. Personally I kinda hope they don't change the setting for the first time, and instead just expand the current map. Why throw away Los Santos when you could just set the new game in San Ferrio or Las Venturas. Totally new city, new story, everything -- no difference there. But just on top of that, you can still drive back to Los Santos. That would also fit well with 'growing' GTAO rather than resetting it a la if GTA6 was set in Vice City 20 years ago.

I am still salty they didnt end up making any single player GTAV DLC after teasing it after the games release

Yes. That is the problem I see there too. But the "new GTA:O" will be exploited again. ^__^
The easiest way would be to allow every player to transfer e.g. 10 million of their old cash to the new GTA:O. That could be a fair deal between players and R*. 10 Millions are enough to buy some new cars and so on. But for the good shit you still have to play new missions.
If they keep saying the same shit everytime and we still don't have an annoucement regarding RD3 by the time the year ends...
