Fuck, that's terrible news. I always really enjoyed his fighting scenes (like this one!), even if I wasn't a huge fan of the works they were in (RvB, RWBY). Hope he gets better.

A good animator yes, but more importantly, he has a vision and flair for direction and camera angles and fighting choreography. Its the latter stuff that makes his works so good.

I hope they say something else soon about his condition, I've seen a lot of people online fearing the worst, and so far I haven't seen anyone from Roosterteeth attempting to alleviate those fears. Definitely a scary situation.

I personally love this scene. It brings Monty's action choreography and Burnie's comedy writing together in an incredibly seamless way.

His RWBY food fight is also a thing of beauty.
