Doesn't it annoy you when people compare old graphics to new graphics and say how much better the old stuff was?

A good example is Soul Calibur. Brilliant back in the day, and still compared favourably to SC2, SC3 and even SC Legends.

Well-made sprites will always be my favorite art style. I thought that the graphics in Tactics Ogre, for example, were ten times the graphics of Final Fantasy Tactics or any of it's ilk. I honestly do prefer it to many, more contemporary titles.

Did someone really just create a Wii versus Dreamcast thread? Who the hell still brings up the original Soul Calibur when talking about graphics. It's 8 years old! It still looks great but - shockingly enough - not as good as most current games. What a crazy concept

shot #2 seems like it should be a direct sequel to shot #1 running on the same hardware, not the 4th iteration of the series running on a completely different platform 8 years later.
