Fextralife is my go-to for the Soulsbornekiro games.I'm going to dive back in. Anyone got a good guide I can refer to when I get stuck? I remember it happen a few times when I played it last. Wasted so much time.
Isn't the ds2 one really incomplete for them? Maybe confusing it with a different one.Fextralife is my go-to for the Soulsbornekiro games.
Could be. I didn't go through DS2 using their guide so I can't vouch for that one in particular.Isn't the ds2 one really incomplete for them? Maybe confusing it with a different one.
Wish me luck guys , going to try and do the no bonfire run (I would say no death as well, but I'm not confident enough to say that I won't die). I can play this game over and over and never get bored.
I find it is actually a lot better so far. I'm enjoying it a great deal. It feels like the biggest game in the series to meI never had a bad time with it but it's poor in comparison to what Miyazaki can make. There's no real sense of connection in the world, you're just fulfilling tasks to reach an end game result. I have a weird admiration for it though, how despite it coming across as different ideas being crammed together it works. Hitboxes for some enemies are still fucked and the DLC areas weren't good. Rolling up on the final boss with an actual squad was funny too.

my main gripe with DS2 is, especially when compared to other souls game directed by Miyazaki like DS1, DS3 and Bloodborne is the level design is like a huge step downI never had a bad time with it but it's poor in comparison to what Miyazaki can make. Is It? I never noticed a step down in level design. If anything, the ds2 DLC feels like it was designed by someone else but the base game is solidmy main gripe with DS2 is, especially when compared to other souls game directed by Miyazaki like DS1, DS3 and Bloodborne is the level design is like a huge step down
for example if you want to compare, the placement of bonfire and how the area connected towards it..it feels like even rewarded players for exploring and discovering the connected hub like in DS1 and Bloodborne ...some bonfire even had shortcut to boss area and overall level design is stark comparisonIs It? Rapier is easy mode (estoc too)Anyone want to give some weapon advice? I just beat the bit fat worm guy.
Sorcery is awesome but takes a bit of time to get there. The fire Longsword is probably best starting weapon in the cave Outside below second bonfire in forest of fallen giantsAnyone want to give some weapon advice? I just beat the bit fat worm guy.
Adaptability. Also, you can get some occasionally with Attunement upgrades if you want to upgrade number of spell slots and casting speed. Under stats there is one called Agility. If you can get Agility to at least 92 you can make it work. I like to have it at around 98 to be able to use items at a decent speed (without mods).Which points to I have put to get invincibility frames when rolling?
