So what happened with Pixar? Up until recently, with the exception of Cars, they generally made top-quality films. Then it seemed like their quality dropped substantially with Cars 2 and they've just been kind of middling.

My favorite Pixar also! (Though I have not seen Cars 2 or Brave yet, though from what I hear, I'm not missing out on much. Also haven't seen Monsters U.)

Wall-E was most overrated for me. Also maybe Toy Story, I didn't even like Toy Story until the 3rd one, which kind of brought the rest together for me and I appreciated it more.

A bugs life is one of my favorites, its the first pixar movie i've ever seen and it was amazing. First movie i've ever seen in theaters, I remember Geri's Game was right before it and that has always been my favorite of their shorts as well.

Ratatouille is my favorite Pixar movie. I think the combination of atmosphere, music, animation, and fancy cooking really appealed to me for some reason.

I always thought I was a bit in the minority in liking it so much, but who knows.

It's definitely Pixar's most perfect film. Though it's 'highs' might not be as great as other Pixar films it never drops off and is just consistently great from start to finish.

I remember this being the first Pixar movie I saw that didn't have an extended rescue sequence in its third arc, and that was very welcome. But as far as I know, they went back to rescue sequences afterward.

Brad Bird is just that good.

Too bad they couldn't swoop in and salvage Brave in a similar fashion. And I'm very worried about The Good Dinosaur, what with its recent director swap. Bob Peterson is from my hometown and is a super-cool dude, so that one stung.

I love Ratatouille, which is weird because almost all of my friends were either indifferent to it or straight up didn't like it. I'd hesitate to call it Pixar's best, but it's a fantastic film one way or the other.

Up had a great start and then became probably my worst Pixar flick after Cars..

Remy's fuckin' terrible ass monologue to his father. Oh god it's so heavy handed and filled with terrible cliched bullshit. It's so bad. IT'S SO BAD! Every time I see that scene, I'm thrown completely off, because the way those lines are read, the stupid dumb message it's trying to convey behind them, it's just so bad.

Ratatouille is by far my favorite Pixar film but man you ain't kidding. I feel like the many of the rat family scenes hurt the movie but this scene is a train coming off the tracks. WHO. CARES. I get the message, I just have no idea where this scene comes from or why it's needed.

Rats cooking? Dumb. Some self indulgent paper thin themes about being an outcast and following your dreams? Dumb. Rats walking on two feet? Dumb. Movie is terrible saccharine fluff.
