Wonder if some NDA ended today, seems like a lot of DC rumors.
The justice league cast already seems bloated (WW, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Shazam), we still have Flash and Green Lantern to slot, maybe they won't make it into the first JLA movie.

The Flash is the most popular DC character outside of the Trinity and maybe Robin; no way he's not in the JLA movie. I still maintain that if any of the original Leaguers is on the chopping block, it's Green Lantern.

Wasn't Joaquin Phoenix rumored for the Dr. Strange role? It seems like both Marvel and DC has had their share of high profile actor but obviously DC a bit more because of the Warner Bros connection.

RDJ didn't become a huge star until the first Iron Man in fact he was considered risky at the time Marvel does a great job at turning actors in huge stars I'd say is more accurate.

Aside from his roles in Sherlock and Star Trek I was just trying to remember where I'd seen his name recently and realized that he did the voice for Smaug in the last Hobbit movie.

I kind of see where they're coming from. All superhero movies before this have been one-man plays, they've never before had to cope with writing dialogue instead of monologue, and it's probably going to be so confusing.

Metallo would be awesome, but I'm really wanting to see him do multiple movies and am hoping he's a member of the League. I say this even as somebody who is incredibly annoyed at the delays with Sherlock.

I knew I was forgetting someone. I think it will be new 52 justice league given how they're promoting it so much in the animation space as well. It'd also be dumb to make Shazam and not have him connected to the universe.
7 is usually the size of the team when they make it.

Nu52 was the same except Cyborg instead Martian Manhunter
Animation Space was Shazam instead of Aquaman.

maybe, but he started very low. I doubt he would take that role if he wouldn't be a washout desperate for second chance. And with his fee getting as big as it is Marvel is propably doing whatever they can to avoid anyone else getting this much clout.

Rumors of MMH make me wonder where they'd introduce him in this universe. I doubt it will be BvS. Justice League might have its hands full introducing Flash and Green Lantern as well as the villains.

Batman vs superman is already well into filming right? Its a little late to be considering him for a role in that movie unless he was just going to do voicework
It's likely for Justice League. But expect people to keep saying every character is for BvS for a while.
If the "no jokes" rule is real, maybe they won't have Flash in the DCCU at all.
