Quantic Dream has always held proprietorship of their games. However, Sony paid for Heavy Rain's production, so I cannot imagine an appearance on another format…ever.

But... does't MS have first right of refusal? In other words, they get first pass on any new Bungie stuff. Even if the game concept is the most horrible, outrageous thing possible, MS would 100% snag it. So, unless I don't have my facts right, it's basically impossible for them to get on the PS3, no?

From what I understand, this isn't the case, actually. Though, with the mammoth price tag and lack of IP ownership, Microsoft is possibly the most likely candidate given that they have the most capital.

Now that I've explained it it should make plenty of sense to you, and might even appear somewhat witty. Then again, YMMV.

Somebody mentioned Ninja Gaiden, which makes sense to me, given the post-Itagaki team's more positive view of the PS3. I just don't know if it'd be the megaton this rumor is implying.

Do Sony fans like Carmack? That makes all the difference in the world. Has he developed an exclusive game for a competing console, talked about PS3 development in a negative way, looked at an NPD, made friends with Gabe or anything else that gets you on that list?

I know he wanted to make a space bubble, but I can't see how that has anything to do with the PS3.

Although the last comments he has made on the subject seemed to switch to pro PS3, but I can't see him intentionally limiting the impact of how well the new engine is suppose to work across platforms, tbh.
