Rumor: Zombie game at VGA? [Update 3: Just Prototype 2?]

I enjoyed it for a few hours, but the combat got tedious and you just got thrown around by shit :/

Only if you were bad at the game. :P

The game gave you about a million options to deal with enemies.

Prototype 2 is looking very very likely now.

The EU PS+ Update is getting a full game trial of Prototype this month.

(its also getting Assasins Creed in December, and Borderlands in Jan).

Has 'Murder Your Maker' written on the bottom. Pretty much settles it; it's Prototype 2.

Either
A: Someone at Activision is in trouble for using Resident Evil images in the "infected picture"
B: It is 2 separate game reveals (being RE and Prototype)

Huh.

I figured Murder Your Maker was prototype 2 and the zombie game the Resident Evil one. Guess we'll find out for sure next saturday.

Military controlled areas in Prototype showed up as a green circle on the map, so that's probably the 'Green Zone'.

The two zombies where used on official Resident Evil shirts......

Doesn't mean they didn't steal or copy a common image in the first place. Lot of clip art and such is public domain. There's also only so much a person can do with drawing zombies.

Prototype 2 without a doubt.

Blah, why tease a game for a relatively long period only to give it out more than a week before the event? It should culminate at the VGA.

the real Alex Mercer? who is already dead?
We haven't seen the body. He released Blacklight and was killed... who knows what sequel retcons can do?

Time to listen to the soundtrack again!

If its out around the same time as inFAMOUS 2, there is only one winner for me. I thought the first Prototype was okay. I loved inFAMOUS.

Sods law they'll have exactly the same release date.

Wasn't NY saved at the end of P1? I remember the vox-pop voiceovers with a civi saying how the army did a good job.

I would have preferred a prequel set in that army town, but with more indepth conversation and interaction as the town turns.

I thought Prototype was worse than ok. I am suprised there are actually people here looking forward to it. The Hulk game the devs did before was way better.

Prototype was one of those games where you'd start it up just to fuck around. I never owned it myself but my housemate had it at Uni and we'd just sit there and cause chaos. It'll be interesting to see how far the engine has come.

I thought I remembering them nuking the city, but I just checked and in the end Alex drops the nuke into the ocean, so the city was saved.

Funny, IMO Prototype pretty much was the Hulk: Ultimate Destruction game except better in every way. Except maybe for the Hulk license, for people who care about that.

I thought the weaponification system was a lot more fun than the multiple body-weapons in Prototype, honestly, and I thought that by default, Hulk just had a bunch more moves. Maybe not more moves when you count all the body-modes, but more moves you could use one after the other. Controlling vehicles and taking disguises was interesting, but kinda shallow, too.
