fuck i would dance with joy to keep people who clearly want to play this rerelease of a game they probably already played on another system locked out of playing it, for no other reason than to chest thump about how they could not play it and how i was so much more special for owning a different console

Theatre Mode - It's been in every COD since Black Ops, I can't imagine it being much hassle to put it in here

Final Killcam - Final Killcam was a great addition to MW2, I'd love to see it in this.
Killcard/nameplate stuff - Customising your killcard or even your character and cosmetic changes in general might be cool, it allows them to sell their dumb micro-transactions if they need to
and you know they will
, but more importantly it just adds another layer of personalisation that's missing in COD4 (this stuff was added in MW2).


I really hope they keep the gameplay intact though, they can only make it worse.

i agree completely...im cool with all the customization stuff...characters, gear, playercards, etc...but leave the gameplay and guns ALONE

They are just sending it out to die if its ps4 exclusive, doesn't have all the maps, or is only a map pack. If it isn't the full game with multiplayer then Activision should save themselves the cost of porting the game.

I rather sit through a Hour of "no games found" and "need 3 more players" in AW then play hour of Combine with idiots running around with flamethrowers and 10 sec delay kills "killed while entering a building but it only registers after you've gone in ran up stairs."
The Game is a mess, the last BLOPS I got was terrible too, never again Treyarch!
Pretty high bar lol its the worst one I've played.
I give them credit for content though. and the SP is better then BLOPSII
 
I think there will be enough interest for classic CoD4 server for GAF


When I get home, I'll create the server, discord and make a thread for it. I lost my CD key a long time ago and will probably just buy it on steam.for $20.


Hardcore or Core? Core on PC is a little different to me, as I can aim much easier with a KB/M lol. But overall I favor hardcore. But I can always change it so the map or whatever else doesn't show up by default.
 
So many good memories playing cod4. Will gladly pick this up. A little bit odd that it's only 10 maps. I'm guessing shipment is o? I lived the chaos with that map.

Is today opposite day? Not only are you wrong about the multiplayer, but you also think Black Ops 3's OBJECTIVELY WORST single player is better than Black Ops 2?

Rumours and all, so nothing is true or necessarily set in stone but...

I hate these half-complete multiplayer remasters. 10 maps of 21? This sends off all kinds of warning signals. One can only expect they'll do something critically facepalmworthy like messing with weapon and perk balance.

It's the biggest reason Halo 2: Anniversary was a disappointment. When a game from 10 years ago is a more complete experience...

This is precisely why I hate the idea of only releasing 10 maps. I loved Bog and Countdown and I enjoyed Wet work and Shipment as well. I'll feel let down regardless of which maps they leave out. I mean, one of the biggest things MW is known for is the high-quality maps. If this is true, it has seriously curbed my excitement for this game. I also see Acti selling the remaining maps as regularly priced DLC just to be even grosser.

Though I agree that the wording on the image is weird. There is no way that you release a product and say that it contains "only" 10 maps. The "only" in this case is a negative and that seems like a rookie mistake.
 
Man, I'm really, really looking forward to MWR. Have over 17 days played and 10th prestige back on the 360. It had none of the current bullshit these later CoD's have and this was easily my favorite game of all time with friends online. Back on the XBone just like 10 years ago.

I hope Acti leaves the MP intact and doesn't fuck it up. Adding a final kill cam and name plate cards would be icing on the cake.

For the love of CoD Acti, do this right

I've not even once had an issue like what you described and I play a ton.
