This scene from the Two Towers hits too close for many men.

No parent should have to bury their child

Full Metal Alchemist. - Night of the Chimera's Cry. (Both Series)

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - Maes Hughes Funeral (Both series)

Argh oh fucking SHIT. Both of those were so fucking harsh. Chimera was just that combination of horror and sadness. The Hughes one really fucked me over, holy god damn.

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm not that fond of horses, but this scene hits me much harder:

The first two characters you meet in the movie are dead and the third that survived just wants to die. Fuck this movie, man :'(

Yeah, seriously, fuck this movie. By the time I was 8, I was ready for everyone I loved to die and face the tragedy with stoicism thanks to Neverending Story.

Yes A.I.

I just cannot watch the movie. I'm a grown man with children and that movie makes me blubber like an infant.
I'm not talking a quiet tear. I'm talking full on streaming with trembling lips. It's a tough movie for me.

"Getting the shakes now, last call for drinks, bars closing down... Sun's out, where are we going for breakfast? Don't wanna go far. Rough night, tired baby... Tired..."

I still think Carlito's Way is DePalma at his best.
Carlito came so close to achieving happiness... :/

The Wrestler.
Pretty much everything in his life had been ruined and that one final moment in the one place where he was a king. Those feels...

"I'm going to clean them all."

Every time I watch The Professional
I think he's going to make it
. Every. time.

My second favorite goes to these two scenes from FMA:B I've found the least spoilerish parts of them that I can, but anyone whose watched the show knows my feels.

Man, when i first saw that epeiode in the orginal series it really got to me, i hadnt even entertained the idea of what Tucker did and then it dawns on you once they walk in.

"Ed...Play?"

Right in the feels :(

Going through 6 straight pages of this thread is a bit much. I just saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back again a couple weeks ago..

Not meant to be sad, but now that he's dead and sorely missed, this whole scene made me really sad.

To be fair, the whole movie is heartbreaking, but obviously the way the actor's facial expressions change is superb.

Thie story behind this picture is quite possibly the hardest thing I've ever had to endure while watching a movie.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to avoid this. Looks too tough for me.

The ending of A Separation.

A daughter forced to choose the parent with whom she wants to live. The silence of a relationship fallen apart.

Well, you could read the plot on Wikipedia if you're curious, but it's still a pretty nerve-wrecking read.

The worst thing during the movie, is thinking that these things did happen in that country; it's not just a sad fictional story that someone wrote 70 years later. A quarter to one third of the population of Belarus was lost during WW2.

Can I ask you why? Is it the ending when he wants one last day with his mother ?

I've just read the Wiki. Just terrible.
Looks like a very well put together movie but I just can't watch movies like that anymore. They are just to tough to take.

I don't really know. There are a couple of moments. The one where he gets abandoned by his adoptive mother when her real son comes home and the ending your are referring to. I don't know why this movie pushes my triggers but it does. And it pushes them hard.

My wife finds it hilarious.

I just read the plot for Futurama's Jurassic Bark episode. This is stuff that still hits hard to me. Good job, GAF :(

I just want to say I hate most of you. Not because you are posting pictures that make me sad, but because you are posting pictures and not saying what they're from.

So fucking annoying.
