If you have TMo jump to do it, then it's certainly worth it. VR really is a neat piece of tech, and the year of Netflix is a nice bonus.
If your paying out of pocket for the phone, then no.

Got mine here in Europe, just came back home with the phone, I suspect they sold it to me behind Samsung's back, but who cares, too bad I have to wait until March 11 for the gear VR and the phone case.
Played a bit with it at one of the local phone shops over here and seriously? What is wrong with you Samsung? There's no stock music app anymore but instead it has that "Play Music" app from Google which I never liked.
Can someone confirm it still has the "Music" app?

Google Play Music is the stock android music app. If you want something else, there are plenty of options on the Play Store.
Every Galaxy phone I had came with Google Play Music AND the Samsung music apk, it's simple and has that speed up option. Not really looking for anything else to be honest.
This is seriously disappointing if they indeed cut that one app out.

Finally going to be able to Pre-order today.
It's taken about a week to get my ducks in a row as I am switching from Sprint to Tmo. I also had a leased Sprint s6 which complicated things. Also making sure I had all the ETF stuff taken care of too.
FYI, Tmo has a thing that you can buy a sim for 99 cents for your tablet and you get free internet (200MB worth). I know it isn't much, but it's free.

Just preordered my own S7 in black in the UK. Was going to get a deal through Carphone Warehouse but their ordering process inexplicably had issues with my address apparently not matching with my bank (utter bollocks). This happened TWICE.
As a result I looked into other options and saw the Samsung Upgrade Program. Really reasonable monthly payments and interest. It also offers the massive bonus of having the option, if offered, to upgrade to next years flagship phone. Once I source a good sim only deal it costs the same as my Carphone Warehouse deal was going to and cheaper than most deals are now these days (contract prices have sky rocketed in the past year or two!).
So I went through the process and it was surprisingly quick and painless and my order was accepted, so YES I'm in. Also free Gear VR!
I've been waiting for ages for the "perfect" phone and the S7 comes closer than anything else, and good timing as my current contract is up next month. I was considering waiting for the iPhone 7, but poor battery, poor storage increase prices, and the main deal breaker (after battery) is the apparent loss of the headphone jack which is imminent. Screw that, the S7 looks incredible. Best screen and camera, solid battery life, really nice size and ergonomics... Cannot wait to get this phone.

Also wanted to say Carphone Warehouse lost business with whatever issue they have in their ordering process, I hope someone from there reads this!

I think I read, that it doesn't come pre-installed, but you can still download it on the Samsung Store.
I'm sure there's someone out that that's going to misuse the vibration of the phone knowing it's water resistant.

What color did you get? What color phone did you get also? I am thinking silver phone with Gunmetal case ... no idea if the two-tone would look cool or dumb.
I went with Gunmetal on a Black Onyx phone. I like to reduce distractions around the screen, so I don't think I could personally go for that two tone look or with a non-black device.
That Caseology one looks slick that I posted on the last page. May go with this due to it being in Stock.

I'm thinking about doing this as well. I like the V10 but I've had the phone for about 5 months now and still haven't seen a fingerprint scanner fix or marshmallow update from T-Mobile. I'm just not sure how I feel about switching to a phone that I can't swap out the battery.

Wallet case for the edge not working.
Gunmetal clear one. I messed up again and got the air cushion ultra clear.
Wanted to try for the black rugged one, but code not working for that one.
Codes only seem to work for the color specified on SD.

Yeah I've just read the same thing. But sadly I can't find the app on the store... I guess I'll hold off a pyrchase till I can confirm for myself that I can download it on a S7 or else I'm just gonna take the iPhone route.
This is by far the wackiest reason I've seen someone invest in an entire ecosystem.
Yeah it's strange haha, there's no denying, blame me. I'm not really that invested into the Android ecosystem (I mean, I only use social media, browse the internet and play music on my phone) but that app is something that is very important to me and if it's not there then I guess a change for once is not that bad, I remember being pretty happy with my 3GS back then.
I think some are getting hit hard as well. Made out with two for now.

I feel ya on the battery part. I always had a spare with me when I'm out and about.
I feel like I'm gonna pull the plunge for it anyway. Worst comes to worst, I can trade it back or sell it. I'm a Tmobile customer.

I'm pretty sure the iPhone music player can't, but if I have to choose between two phones which can't do that then choosing something different for once is not such a bad idea in my opinion.
The interest over two years is something like an extra £60 or so, not bad for credit as far as I'm concerned. That is still a bit rubbish though... The upgrade program is a nice idea though, and I'm really interested in seeing where they take Gear VR so keeping up to date with the phone could play an important role in that. I'm not too bummed out by this if it's true.
(I'm more worried that Carphone Warehouse, after refusing my payment twice in writing and once over the phone saying it wasn't working, now shows a pending payment on my bank account for the upfront cost of the phone....
Seriously anyone in the UK avoid these guys and all their other businesses under the Dixons brand, Currys, PC World etc. They're a terrible business, incompetent at best, scammers at worst!)
Thee is a significant difference in speed but for my usage, I am never going to see the difference. 2 minute transfer time to shift movies/music over vesus 8 minutes is not a problem for me.
FYI, finalized my order with Tmo today and was told there would be a 4-7 day delay due to demand. I confirmed that I would still be eligible for the promo. This is for the s7, not the edge.
