Scott Manley: "Elon Musk's Forgotten Career In Video Games"

Mr. Grumpy

Grumpy see, Grumpy do.
Admittedly he didn't do a great deal of the "game" stuff as he seemed to concentrate on higher level stuff like driver software but I did think this video was pretty interesting anyway. Most of the games he worked on were at his stint at the appropriately titled Rocket Science Games.

From Scott Manley's YouTube Channel, there's some great stuff on there.

Gameplay Videos
Blastar - PC (1984)

Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine - MS-DOS/Sega CD (1994)

Cadillacs & Dinosaurs: The Second Cataclysm - MS-DOS/Sega CD (1994)

Rocket Jockey - PC (1996)

For anybody wanting to try Blastar, there is a browser based HTML5 version that's still available to try here.

I remember seeing adds for rocket jockey. It looked terrible. I never played any of their games, probably due to them being CD games but do remember seeing lodestar at a rental place. I feel like whoever was doing the branding at their company should have the first fired as their game titles are horrible.
