Yeah, Dex-Starr is awesome. In his first appearance he completely incinerated a Sinestro Corp member.
Plus they actually fleshed out a back story for him and it's pretty tragic.

Haha I had forgotten that. It's the same for Australia. Edit: According to Wiki wog isn't such a bad word in Australia anymore but I remember seeing a newsreport from there where a woman referred to two black guys as wogs.

Stranger things have happened in the Corps. I mean, Rot Lop Fan comes from a pitch-black space sector where his race evolved completely sightless, and has no concept of the color green, much less what a lantern looks like or how it's used. That's why he's the F-Sharp Bell with his own oath and everything.

Oh no doubt, but still really glad to see they're not hamstringing the comics for typical bullshit Hollywood reasons. I really hope the movie is good and this makes money for DC and we get more superhero stuff from DC to offset Marvel movie mania.
