Marvel really woke up and isn't going to let Thor's trilogy go out like that

Seriously, I'm taken aback by how good that trailer was. I liked the teaser too, a LOT, but man. Wow. This is one of those things that punches you in the face and you just want more. I want more.

Just wow. Phase 3 fucking rocks.

It's crazy. I was SOOO hyped to watch a Thor movie directed by Kenneth Branagh. What we got was..man. Not at all what I expected from someone I respect for all his Shakespearean work. His Hamlet is untouchable, imo. In shock at my excitement for this..Taika Waititi has just sold me with everything he's done.

November is gonna be a crazy month for comic book fans..no doubt. This year in general has been phenomenal!

Ruffalo recently said Universal isn't playing nicely about another solo Hulk movie.

Universal is never gonna play nice. A Hulk movie in this day and age is like to gross over 700MM WW. They have rights of first refusal, distribution gets ~8% of the WW BO gross IIRC, Universal would be dumb to refuse it. Either Disney pays up to reacquire the distribution rights like they did with Paramount or they are stuck in this limbo. It is likely that when Disne is ready to start negotiating, they will want to kill 2 birds with one stone and get whatever movie rights and theme park rights Comcast has at the same time.

I'd love a Grey Hulk/ Mr. Fixit movie. Get on it Disney/Marvel.

Directly into my veeeeeeeins

Hey, so, is old school Thor on Marvel Unlimited yet? It wasn't when I tried it out, like, two years ago. My library doesn't have the 80s Thor stuff so there's no other way for me to read it besides to buy really expensive omnibuses, and I don't buy trades unless I've read them already / know I'll read them again so...yeah. I wanna read the cool Thor stuff man

DAE this trailer spoiled the whole movie?

I think it's always been expected to be: Thor gets stranded by Hela > Thor and Hulk fight > Thor and Hulk go to Asgard to punch Hela really hard in the face

Then you ask how Surtur figures in. Or Odin. Or Skurge. And on.. Knowing of the plot skeleton probably says very little about the story.

I definitely thought the SM Homecoming trsileda were spoilery amd yet... i didn't see mpst of it coming.

This trailer is amazing fuck. Is it November yet

This is extremely 80s looking.

It really is, it's like if you took one of those fantasy/sci-fi cartoons for the 80s (He-Man, She-Ra, Visionaries) and made it into live action (not counting the 80s Masters of the Universe, which mainly took place in our world). Hell, I've said it before, a lot of the armor design for some of the characters looks straight up 80s action figure-like.

When they finally get around to doing the new He-Man movie, they better take cues from this movie.

I wonder if Hela will win in the end of this movie. maybe Thor and Hulk manage to stop Surtur, but Hela accomplished her goal of destroying Asgard

Assuming Hela is replacing Death, I imagine Hela will be the main villain together with Thanos for Avengers 3 and 4. and unlike Loki where he's just serving Thanos, so it's okay for Loki to lose in his first appearance in Thor 1. Hela will be the one above Thanos. I can't imagine her losing for her first appearance in this movie

forget that, it seems Infinity War is more like the recent Infinity arc (Thanos comes to earth with his Black Order goons) than the actual Infinity Gauntlet story with Thanos infatuated with Death.

I didn't read the comics, but those two subplot didn't really contradict each other. Thanos story so far is basically about collecting the gem, but we didn't know why he want to collect the gems. Avengers 1 kinda tease that it's to court Death, which could be Hela.
