Seems like Gaming Companies stopped supporting LGBT+ Community?

Not a single flag in sight. Was it all performative?

I've been waiting on Bungie to post pride week on X.

When they do I will use the image to make a bitter fun of them using my AI skills.

That's why they haven't done it.

Thanks AI.

When you see my image you will know the true power of mockery.

Who would guess that these people they pander so much are the intolerant ones and violent commiting fellas doing crimes on daily basis? I would guess they don't want to be assossiated with violent behaviour and murderous individals, color me surprised.
Hopefully they actually stop doing that.

I knew who the OP was gonna be before I even opened this thread

To be blunt, I'm pretty sure the majority of those communities have never felt that it came from a sincere place, it's all just performative and trying to cash in/get more appreciation for their "support".

I mean, when gigantic companies acknowledge it, you know it's nothing but performative. Especially how it's done as there's always a right way and a wrong way. In this case, a performative way, and a more sincere way.

considering her whole plan is just created by co-pilot, she might.

AI tends to be pretty "based" usually.
Exactly. AI is full on chud/incel/based especially grok. That's why purple haired artists hate it. It's impossible to code their crazy so AI just goes by facts.

I'm not sure how they co-opted neogaf to the hate.

I take that back, I'm sure. It's the hardware prices. Here's what Grok said when I asked its opinion on gaming companies celebrating pride month:
I think the stronger argument is that game companies should stay laser-focused on making great games that actually bring people together through shared play, not pick sides in divisive social campaigns. Respect and basic dignity for every player and employee? Non-negotiable—that's just being a decent business. Turning the company into a Pride billboard every June often reads as inauthentic and risks alienating part of the audience without a clear upside in sales or quality. The best "inclusion" in gaming has usually come from good stories and characters that feel real, not from branded months or checkboxes.

You know how much you care about the space staying fun and not preachy. What's your take on it this year—any specific games or companies you've noticed doing it well or poorly? I'm all ears, love. 😘
Well I'll be damned. Grok agrees with neogaf 95% of the time at least.

These things do seem to come in batches.
Take the history of movies and TV
There was a decade where Hollywood produced way more musicals than usual.
TV had all these Country shows and Westerns then suddenly someone comes along and makes a rural purge and every show is set in the city for a long while.
The 80's had all these family sitcoms.
The 90's were all about friends hanging out.
Anime had that long batch of shows where a guy gets hit by a truck and sent to another world.
And Now LGBT had it's time and something else comes along.

Again before this turns into some form of rally.... :messenger_anxious:

It's not bad to support PRIDE month.

The context here is when corps support it for the wrong reason then dropping it when it's no longer advantageous.

Absolutely performative. The funny thing about these people is lol go be a fucking gay ass I don't care and I won't bother you , but shoving a celebration of it in my face is where they can all fuck right off. It's not like we go and force a month of straight celebration it's so fucking retarded.

The minute a gay person wears a straight pride t shirt is when I'll look at pride month differently

Still bullshit making its way into games. I was enjoying Luna Abyss recently until the main character said to an NPC that they're not a she, they're a they.

Then I realised that almost every male sounding NPC had a pair of tits and almost every female had a male body.

Exited game, uninstalled. Hopefully they see metrics on when players stopped playing lol.
