Somehow GT got a version of the teaser with music added.
Song must be original to the teaser to fit in perfectly, unless GT made it themselves?
shagg_187 said:Song's already present in the flash version @ the teaser website, unless you have issues with your flash player...

Ringo is on the Puyo page!
I checked some of their other websites like Sonic Channel and their Platinum Games page for example, nada, so they're not advertising it wherever they can.
I am good. But Chao also caught the resemblance too.

That would only work if you left out Puyo15th.Lee N said:24^2-47*7 = 247

"What's mean 247?"
In Japan they like wordplay on numbers (goroawase) and after fiddling around a bit I came to the conclusion that it could be read as Puyo 7.
This is not the first time they've puns like that for the Puyo Puyo series.
ぷよぷよ通 is read as Puyo Puyo Tsuu - which sounds like Puyo Puyo 2.
The third game is called ぷよぷよSUN where SUN sounds like "san", the japanese word for three.
The fourth part is called ぷよぷよ〜ん where they've added an n after yo. "yon" means four.
The fiftth part in the series is called Puyo Puyo Fever where フィーバー (Fever) can be read as Fiver.
Then there's Fever 2 - which I'm not sure if they ever used a pun for, but I guess that's the 6th part in the series, which leaves:
247... Puyo 7.
Also, the character looks like something out of Puyo Puyo Fever - like someone already mentioned in the thread.
What do I win?

The are obviously way more than 6 puyo puyo games, I don't know if puyo puyo fever 2 is considered the 6th mainline game - maybe puyo puyo 15th anniversary is the 6th game - though it feels more like an anniversary type collection more than a sequel to me.Cosmo Clock 21 said:That would only work if you left out Puyo15th.

Anyway, Sega trademarked "Puyo Puyo Fever Touch" recently, so I guess it could be related to that. Too bad this ridiculously lenghty countdown won't let us find out, eh ?
