I interpreted wrong at first too. I thought it meant 8 bucks for all Genesis games, but the press release says game prices START at 8 dollars. Meaning some will be more.

The pricing scheme of the VC in general pretty much makes sure that I won't buy too many games, especially Sega's because they have no nostalgic value to me.

If they had something like achievement points or enhanced graphics/extra features, I might consider it, but $8 for a straight port of a 15-year old is not gonna fly with me unless it's the very best of the best (i.e. Link to the Past).

I dunno how many of them I'll *buy*, but it's not a terrible price, considering that SNES games are also $8. If they keep each generation of games at a standard price level, I'm all for it.

Keep in mind that there will be no "Lumines Live" situations with the VC. I'd rather have a complete 15 year old game left untouched over a new game modernized but you have to pay for the good parts.

Well...I sorta expected this. I'll buy a few of them here and there,but only my absolute personal favorites...nothing more. Which is why I'm hoping they have enhanced the games with a slight visual boost,ala Time Pilot and Dig Dug games on XBLA. Give us something a little extra for the 8 bucks,yaknow?
