Sekai Project and Limited Run Games Are Teaming Up To Bring Visual Novels and Japanese Indies to Western Hands
LOS ANGELES – June 12, 2016 – Leading Visual Novel and Japanese independent games publisher Sekai Project is officially teaming up with the North Carolina based Mighty Rabbit Studios and their subsidiary Limited Run Games to bring some of Japan's hottest titles in both digital and physical form to the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita.
Through this partnership, Mighty Rabbit Studios will assist Sekai Project in porting over many titles from their acclaimed library. Each title will undergo extensive development to ensure the best possible product for the PlayStation platforms.
Limited Run Games will be bringing Sekai Project's console and handheld titles to consumer hands through their unique and incredibly popular service of physical copies sold online. This will, as their name suggest, be available in a limited run and bring true Japanese gaming to their ever increasing line-up of incredible collectors edition games.
"We are thrilled to finally be working officially with Mighty Rabbit Studios and Limited Run Games to bring many of our games to the PlayStation platforms. I have been getting emails about Limited Run Games for almost a year now from passionate fans from around the world wanting to get their favorite visual novel in limited physical form.
Since our very first talks with Mighty Rabbit Studios, we knew immediately what it feels like when doves cry, and it felt heavenly. Our companies' philosophies of bringing fun, excitement and adventure to people around the world merged instantly, and we couldn't have found a better partner to bring our games to the PlayStation platforms."
