SF5 Collector's Edition and Pre Order Costumes Announced

Is it confirmed that Cammy's face will be the same as the DLC pics on her default in the final game?

If so, great, ever since she was announced I wanted her to go back to the anime face from SF4

Perfect.

*Worth noting that I also wish SFV was using GGXrd graphic techniques to be a 1080p representation of the SF Alpha sprites, so that probably has something to do with it.

i think everyone on the planet wanted that

HELLLLLL NOOOOO. That works for GGXrd. They embraced their janky ass animations from back in the day and it works for them.

I want Street Fighter to be fluid and have it's own art style. What it has now is fantastic. Keep that low frames of animation stuff out of my Street Figther.

I love Guilty Gear by the way.

By YOUR Street Fighter I assume you mean SF4, considering how integral the low frame rate had been to playing SF at a high level since the beginning. But thats really off topic since what you describe only really exists in sprite based fighters...

There is nothing about that GG style that requires "janky" animation. The same way that having the inked/outlined look in SF4 didnt make for janky animation, either. It would be quite striking and fitting for Alpha since Alpha has always had a deliberate anime feel, visually.

Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter Alpha series. They've always had more frames of hand drawn animation per move than GG. GG emulated that in their game. I don't want it in Street Fighter since it has always been more fluid.

I'm not talking about art style here. I'm talking about animated frames. Which Guilty Gear just seems to love to not have even in their new iteration. Which looks good because that's how it's ALWAYS been for them. Don't get so defensive. I'm not dissing the game. Just saying that I don't want Guilty Gears low animation set emulated in the SF universe. That's how it came off as what people wanted.

Street Fighter 3
I mean thats still low framerate compared to any polygonal fighter. GG's thing is to trick you into thinking its 2d until it changes perspective. The framerate isnt low from what ive seen in videos, the character animations are just made to look the part. Theres a lot of design space to play with that graphical style in. Its certainly more ripe for use than when the shitty old style of "cel-shaded" graphics was all the rage during the last couple of gens.

Street Fighter has always had better animation ever since GG's inception. Good for them that they emulated their low frames of animation on going over to the 3D environment. I don't want that in Street Fighter since every iteration in the mainline Street Fighter series has always improved their animation quality tremendously. Even now with the jump from SFIV to SFV the animation in character movesets have jumped up very much. You're missing the whole point I'm trying to make. I'm done.

Both I and the first person have been talking about the graphical style/cel shading but you are bringing up and seizing on the GG characters' animations. The original poster even said "1080p representation of Alpha's sprites" There is no reason at all that the animation has to be done like GG. Its a 3d model, they can animate it exactly how they want. They are two separate elements of the game.

I want it but I'm worried we might have another RE 5 collectors edition quality from capcom, especially the paint job on hunky Chris which was terrible btw broke on the 1st day.
