Shahid Ahmad leaving Sony.

SE staff sent in the blog post with Vita port in it. I remember seeing it and the PS Blog staff don't have control over things being sent in iirc.
How's that Shahid's fault if he was just retweeting that, then they go and change the post to PS4/X1?

I don't get some people in here man

Best of luck! Looking forward to seeing what you make.

As someone working within Sony, you'll have thought that he will caught and discover the error the moment that blog post was up. Or at least not adding that jrpgvita hashtag to paint the illusion that the announcement was the result from the jrpgvita campaign.

Good for him, he seemed to have to deal with an unnecessary amount of garbage for someone in his position so he's better off out of it. Perils of interacting with your audience I guess.

Best of luck out there Shahid.

he was talking about indies.

Don't waste your time, he knows that already.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bandai Namco already had planned to release Tales of Heart and he took the credit for it like with Type-0.

I think whoever works with Shahid in the future will be very lucky. It's obvious he truly is passionate about his career and the products he helps with.

That said-that E3 Vita FF Type zero thread was amazing to experience. The meltdowns were awesome.

How does he make the money fly towards him??

My opinion is that Tales of Hearts wasn't a Shahid effort. Only FM 2014.

Eh, he used the hashtag for it. Which makes it part of that effort.

Like I said, we only saw one title (if going by that hashtag) from that. So I feel like that effort/social media "experiment" kinda backfired like some of his tweets.

I don't harbor any ill-will toward him and wish him the best. But man, those tweets at times...

Good luck further on! :)

I dont think he was the guy who was in charge of handling all 3rd party relation with the Vita (and i think that tweet also reflect that, concidering that he thought it was comming), so him working with Sony doesnt mean that he will know about everything. I guess he got exited and retweeted it, seems like an honest mistake to me.

Not because of the Vita. By because he raves all the time on Twitter about how he loves prototyping and stuff. Game jams and the like. He's outwardly been wanting to do game dev for a long time now. Hopefully he gets some good support along the way. He really set up a good support system.
Thanks for all the kind words folks, really appreciated.
Dude! Thanks to you and the crew for all the games. Let us know when you have something to show off, I'll be there day one.

Uh? He did, actually, give us tons of vita games. He was also responsible for making TxK happen
Yeah, I wish the best of luck to him. I loved his enthusiasm alongside Boyes and Yoshida. Those sorts of people, the ones that get genuinely excited about games and developers are the ones I want heading up game development/publishing. Can't really say I see much of that from MS (but of course, Nintendo does succeed in this regard).

And thanks for TxK, Shahid <3

Shahid was/is a passionate guy, I like what he stood for, he had standards, which is something I have much appreciation for in this industry. Good luck on your future endeavors Shahid, hope to see you around and play your game in the future.

I know I'm a horrible bastard, but I had to unfollow him on Twitter because all he talks about is starting his new job. I know it's a big deal for him, but I don't want to see literally hundreds of posts about the same thing. And the dude posts a lot on Twitter.
