Iridion was MIND BLOWING on GAME BOY ADVANCE

Ah, that's my gifs... one of my favorite game on GBA, with an amazing soundtrack too.

Love Shin'en, I almost blindly buy every game they release.

Yeah, Shin'en are pretty amazing. The fact that they can make games like Nano Assault Neo and whatever the new racing game for the Wii-U is called with only 5 people is absolutely amazing.

They got the potential for being the Wii-U's Factor 5.

I think Jett Rocket (the first one) is really underrated. With the dearth of 3D platformers on the market, the fact that this small team of guys were able to make such a good one on their first attempt is something to appreciate. Then you throw in the stunning graphics and the fact that the whole thing comes in at under 40 Megabytes, and it becomes even more impressive. I wish they would make a true sequel for the Wii U. The 3DS game had a few good levels which were fully 3D, but disappointingly, the bulk of the game consisted of underwhelming sidescrolling levels.

Interesting, I had no idea. It looks good, I'd probably have bought it knowing I loved (still do) handheld racing games, and I loved GBA games with 3D elements.

It would be funny if they remade it for the 3DS eShop. I remember they said they chose not to make Fast for 3DS because even though it has a lot of graphical advantages over the Wii, they wouldn't be able to hit 60 fps on it.

I think it was probably a mistake to first intend the game to be fully a side-scroller, and then deciding to add 3D levels later on. The side-scrolling levels are nice enough, but the 3D levels are more impressive and satisfying to explore, though to me it is clear they kind of feel like an after-thought. The level design in them isn't as good as in the 2D levels. They should have made it full 3D from the start in my opinion, but that may have made development of the game considerably longer. As it stands I still think it's one of the best games on the eShop.

I've only played the 2 Nanostray games... first was ehh, but the second one was a damned solid shmup. If a bit familiar feeling...

Nanostray was my first Shin'en game, still own both games. Would like them to release another side scroller shmup...
Nanostray was my first Shin'en game and it was pretty dang fun. Got it used for cheap, too.

My favorite game of theirs so far is Art of Balance on Wii U. Such simple fun, especially in multiplayer.

Just played trough Jett Rocket II. Was alright, would play the the original, if it was rereleased on eShop. Don't really want to add more points to the Wii Shop Channel anymore.

So we have FAST RMX launching in 4 days, are there any other Shin'en franchises you want to see on the system? Art of Balance is pretty much guaranteed and could be cool with HD Rumble.

You know what I really love about Shin'En?

Their music.
I really like Linzner OSTs.
The influence of video game music composers from the 8/16 bit era is undeniable, but he does a great job at sounding exactly like Chris Huelsbeck without ripping him off.
Huelsbeck and Linzer both come from the demoscene, which explains a lot.
(Both from German developers than happen to be able to push Nintendo console hardware to its limits. And with awesome music to boot.)
