As far as recent projects are concerned, his weakest effort is P.N.03, which is still a pretty good game, in my opinion.

Why did he leave Platinum Games? This man has changed developers four times in the past 7 years. Granted he always seems to take his core team and peers with him but still. Why even do it?

He is still my favorite Japanese developer by far. He understands the complexities of good game design like few designers ever have.
