Defending deleting messages in general is a no brainier.

She denied their existence in the first place if I recall correctly however.

Or say you suscribe to a forum that automatically forwards responses to your phone. Lots of responses come in one day, so now your phone is bombarded with XForum messages. You can't even scroll to the messages you need. So... you simply delete the XForum messages.

Some people are just anal, and do shit like that for organizational purposes. I mean it never looks right to have one persons name repeated in your inbox or phone. Sometimes I go into my Blackberry and delete chatty (hi h r u) (kbythx) (meet @ 7) messages from certain people, and I save messages from others.

All sorts of things people do... everything is not always as it seems. Open your mind to other plausible explanations. Don't always jump to the obvious conclusion.

OP also made it sound like his wife deletes only the messages to/from this guy, and that she did it everyday. Doesn't sound like they were deleted because her inbox was full.

From what the op has said these text have been going on for more then one day.... Unless she needs to vent with 30-40 text a day and only bothers to delete text from this one number, doesn't make much sense, does that not seem strange to you? If not your probably getting played like an ps2 game just like him.

The OP also admitted he exagerrated the situation. maybe he's just melodramatic. That's what it seems like to me. I mean he made this thread, struggles with what to do, breaks down in tears with his wify, comes back and everything is all good.

Have you ever "vented about work" as much as this girl has (if we believe the op) without being involved or sexually attracted to the person?

From my personal experience there's one thing my girlfriends have all had in common, the need to tell me constantly how annoying their boss/work colleague/teacher/mother is, and work colleagues may make a passing remark about it but honestly nothing more.

This agrees with my life-long theory that if a woman talks to you a lot about her personal life she is interested in you.

Don't just expect to go into the bedroom when she is watching TV and out of nowhere start making out with her. From my experience, women and their sex drives are not like light switches ... even though ours often are haha.

Compliments and flirting will go a long way in the long run ... and if they don't ... your wife really does suck and she needs an attitude adjustment or she needs to be dropped.

Perhaps in reality, the wife has a specific set of chores, which she does really quickly, then plays WoW for like an hour or two before doing whatever else she has to do.

We don't have her side. We have the OPs, extremely biased side, and he seems a tad unstable.

Kinda off topic. But yes, it can mean something if the guy has an actual addiction to it. I dated a guy that did and it was really bad. Fucked up my self esteem big time. I'd be gone at work for 10 minutes, before he'd get to his porn thing. he'd 80% of the time would also refuse to have sex with me (and I had a decently large sexual appetite..) So, it's not fair to assume it doesn't always just mean nothing. :/ It can definitely become a problem depending on the person.

Edit: As for OP.. I generally get the feeling some things in his thread might be exaggerated about his wife to try and make HIM look better. That's usually what people do when they're venting on forums I've noticed. So he is obviously leaving stuff out about himself. And yeah, I don't blame her for cheating if you apparently think so lowly of her anyway. Just end it. Unless you two are the type that like being with someone you hate and enjoy the constant drama.

No, it was quite bad. It's not a relationship, and it's not even that secret :) I don't do anything that would make this girl think i'm attracted to her (although she probably knows everyone is by default). Well it's a messed up addiction for a reason. but no, I wouldn't like if the only way we'd have sex is if porn was on. Not very healthy in my opinion. Maybe as an occasional thing, but every time?
