For some reason it won't let insert images. It says try again or contact an admin. So here are just the links.

Here is my game room. Had recently put new carpet and padding in, repainted everything, put a new ceiling fan in, bought a new desk, got rid of bookcases with older systems games and put the games in bins with the others in the store room, and added a few more floating shelves.

Looks great! Clean, organized, and simple. Wonderful job!

I finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade my PC. Found a 2080 ti for an acceptable price and decided fuck it. I upgraded everything but the PSU, mobo and CPU which have both been up to anything I've thrown at them. I've gone from running maxed out Fallout 4 (extremely modded and running ENBs) at 4K/15 fps to entirely locked 30fps (around 45 on average unlocked) with the ENB shut off but all mods still active I'm locked at 4K/60fps (or occasionally 0 fps because Gamebryo).

Sorry for so many shot of just a PC but I haven't made a major change to my setup in a couple years So right now I'm a bit excited (mostly because it actually worked when I turned it back on).

Case compared to my old Fractal case. I can't imagine ever going back to a mid Case, there is so much room to get my big fat gorilla hands around in this thing. and the airflow is tremendous. At full tilt this thing is moving so much air the case temp has never gone more than 5 degrees over room temps, but it's somehow quieter than my previous setup.
J2xIvoa.jpg

I suck at cable management. I'm looking into replacement wiring solutions that won't look like an ass sandwich but at least right now everything is functioning properly and there is about 1 1/2" of space for wiring between the back wall and the side panel.
SW6j8tk.jpg

Right now I'm looking for cosmetic panels to sit on the base and cover up some of the clutter on the back walls.

- Video Card - MSi RTX 2080ti Sea Hawk X - Currently clocked at 1950 Mhz. I might go higher but it's behaving well. It hasn't gone over 60 degrees under any load and sits at 25 degrees at idle. Very happy with this card's performance so far.
- Mother board - Asus X99 Deluxe
- CPU - Intel i7 5820K - Currently only clocked to 4.2, but will clock back to 5.0 as I had it in my last setup, just wanted to make sure the temps were good in the new case. The hardest I've tasked it has taken it to the high 40s but I'll keep an eye on it for a bit before I jump back up to 5..
- CPU cooler - Corsair H110i GTX AIO with replacement 2000rpm 140mm fans.
- Other cooling - 4 200mm fans (2 in, 2 out), 2 140mm fans for lower drive/power compartment airflow, GPU cooler is the factory 120mm fan and radiator.
- Ram - G.Skill 3200 DDR4 2x16 - Overclocked to 3400 though I don't really see a difference over the base clock, I mostly did it so I can say it's overclocked :messenger_grinning_smiling: Temps are pretty low and it's been stable so far.
- PSU - EVGA Supernova 1200W
- Drives - Samsung M.2 EVO 250GB, 2 x Samsung EVO 250GB, 1 x Samsung EVO 1TB, 1 x Seagate 5TB "Porn Dumpster" HDD.
- Case - Thermaltake Core X71 Full tower

I've always done that, prevents glare, gives a little ambiance lighting.
Yeah where i live has this stupid desk home theater thing built into the wall, with a window right behind it. I do get no glare which is a plus. I do get scared that it will eventually collapse due to all the equipment i have on it.

Holy fuck that’s nice.

Pretty much ever since I started visiting these threads I have dreamed of doing one of these desktop gaming PC rigs with beautiful backlighting.

My wife’s cousin’s teen kids made one of these and I am so jealous. Seeing that sweet 4K close by and having insane frame rates.

I guess my only hesitation is whether I could spend all day sitting upright playing, instead of a sofa.

Get a chair that doesn't suck and you'll be good to go.

A lot has happend since my last post. And it really starts to come together! I just need to put something above my pc setup.
The image quality is a bit bad so I'm sorry in advance for that.

Console gaming area:
Ps4 pro
Xbox one X
Nintendo switch
sony 4k hdr tv
philips hue

Pc area:

2x asus pg27q
1x asus pg27uq
Gtx 1080 ti
Intel core i7-8700k

The shelfs needs a little tweaking, some more clearer structure and some more gaming periferials ;D

This is my heaven, I'm finally having a gaming setup which I can proudly say I'm more than happy with.

What do you guys think I shall put above the pc monitors? :)

I finally got around to getting some new pics of my gaming setup, this is it day to day. I've tried to include pics of new things that weren't seen in last years thread.

pxElWnWh.jpg

Here is my main setup in the living room.

hqfGj3vh.jpg

A closer look at the main setup,

1LMKRDth.jpg

Here is the setup in the spare room which I refer too as my 'retro room' not pictured is the last tube TV Sony made a 27" Wega

TmHSvhAh.jpg

A closer look at those retro consoles.

This shelf was a new edition in 2019, from Ikea known as 'FABRIKÖR ' unfortunately not cheap $249.99 CAD but I had always wanted one, especially after my brother got one. This thing screamed Fallout to me, it has 2 adjustable glass shelves and the bottom (so 3) and comes with a key so its where I lockup the high end collectibles.

rnoZ1Rah.jpg

A closer look at the collectors editions locked inside the 'FABRIKÖR ' shelf.

cii47pOh.jpg

I ordered the Ultimate Edition and picked that up launch day when RDR2 released and I also ordered the Collectors Box from the Rockstar website which came a couple weeks later, it turned out it was very much worth the extra money.

oKJRlkqh.jpg

Still one of my fav collectors editions, Atlas from Titanfall, random find when someone didn't pick up their pre-order, biggest packaging I've ever seen. Definitely my reason for owning an XboxOne this gen.

0DqJqEch.jpg

In the living room, closest to the balcony. Added the God of War collectors edition this year.

w58tQIih.jpg

Master Sword Edition for BotW, I added the Champion Amiibo set since last time, definitely the most pricey Amiibos yet.

ggGHIzUh.jpg

A closer look at the God of War CE.

njsggxch.jpg

My Skyrim CE, always a fav.

PA25vPth.jpg

RE7 CE, also picked up at random when someone didn't pick up their pre-order, thats probably one of my fav underrated gems, the music box is so creepy as the lights flicker in the house while a verse of 'Go Tell Aunt Rhody' plays. I also added the RE2 CE earlier this year, just as terrifying, I still wish VR was included though.

InAWUfwh.jpg

Next shelf on the living room wall, FFXV Ultimate Edition at the top and Call of Duty WWII, the original Night Vision goggles from the Prestige Edition and the remote IED from Black Ops at the bottom.

fcwx4fmh.jpg

A closer look at Noctis from the FFXV Ultimate Edition, the Cactaur pins were not included.

ijmXHDMh.jpg

A closer look at my COD WWII CE, the plate was just recently given to me a gift to my grandparents for their wedding from his Squadron the 'boys of 147' in 1942 and I couldn't think of a better place it should go.

KLVX7ith.jpg

3/4 Ikea 'DETOLF' shelves, my original PlayArts FFVII figures, newly added was the Days Gone CE and my shine to everything Valkyria Chronicles related.

WlnbSufh.jpg

Pt. 1 of the PlayArts FFVII figures.

JLOgMPrh.jpg

A closer look at Pt 2 of the PlayArts FFVII figures

vp014Uvh.jpg

A close up of the Days Gone CE added earlier this year.

cWAWNhhh.jpg

Everything I own Valkyria Chronicles related, The Hafen tank from Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a new addition to the shelf. The big one is the original Valkyria Chronicles CE only released in Japan, it came with that little Edelweiss tank and inside the box in the back I have sealed copies of the original VC in both English and Japanese.

33RG2bDh.jpg

4th and final DETOLF shelf, my Dark Horse Game of Thrones figures, I added Arya and Danearys with Drogon this year, probably the last ones I'll pick up Tormund is like $500 haha. Some newer FFVII figures with the Black Materia vinyl from theyetee.com and below that my shrine to all things The Legend of Zelda.

McAi9i1h.jpg

Winter is coming...

COXWe5lh.jpg

Dracarys...

XDZFo8Oh.jpg

Dedicated Legend of Zelda shelf.

hPtgaqrh.jpg

A random shelf beside the kitchen, Star Wars vehicles at the very top, Splatoon Amiibo setup next one down, my Cuphead shelf next down, Stranger Things pop figures below that and on the bottom a boxed Bandai FFVII figure set and Danearys and the Night King pop vinyls.

m8Gv4FAh.jpg

Amiibos are still the toughest thing to collect but I do enjoy them.

owjixNmh.jpg

These are all pretty much new since the last pics, I do love the artistic style to Cuphead.

nLTnJb3h.jpg

Amiibo!

Thats it for me this year, thanks for taking a look!

Here is mine... Need to take brighter picture.... PS4 slim in the top left, 360 below (unplugged now) with games in cupboard below.
Presonus e3.5 speakers, fiio e10k dac, 3700x, x570 gigabyte elite, rtx2070, masterkeys pro L pbt keyboard, LG 27uk650 4k ips monitor.
I would like to: Update mouse. current logitech g400 is 10 years old. Don't much like brown switches on masterkeys (have older cherry touchboard on black switched somewhere) and I keep making typing mistakes.
Also looking for wireless headphones that would work with ps4 slim and pc (so I could swap usb dongle between the two). I did had a lot of headphones more and less expensive but always went back to Koss Porta Pro. The convenience, comfort and sound quality of those is great but because these are wired, I feel I am not using those as much as I would wireless headphones.
Any idea for some lighting ? It can get really dark in there but I have no idea what type of lighting pick and how to mount it.

Ps4 slim is invisible in there :p

Well, this has been a long time in the making. We first moved to our new London flat in early 2017. We worked with some interior designers to realise our vision for the apartment. In late 2017 we had a leak that ruined most fixed surfaces, and 2018 was spent battling with insurers, and getting repairs done. The flat is now complete, and we got to enjoy the break at home playing games.

Here is a look at some of the different spaces in the apartment:

Lounge and dining area

The heart of the flat, where we spend most of our time. A Genelec 7.0 system provides sound to the space, with a three Genelec 8351s in the front, and four ceiling-mounted Genelec 8341s at the rear. The TV is Sony 85x9505B, chosen for its low input latency and high quality 4K HDR image.

The Genelec speakers where chosen because they allow us to hear the video games closest to what the likes of Capcom or Bioware intended. The large amount of reflective glass surfaces was a particular challenge, but Genelec used their software to minimise intrusive artefacts resulting from the hard surfaces in the space.

KIT LIST - Sony 85x9505B TV, Genelec 8351 speakers. A bespoke media unit, with Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, Switch and a Titan X Pascal gaming PC, through a Marantz 8802a AV amp. Hatches for Switch and PlayStation VR. Togo sofas from Ligne Roset.

Snug

This is the most indulgent and fun area in the flat. We designed it as a comfy late night escape, a cave where one can retire to late at night when others go to sleep. A Sony 4K TV on the left is hooked up to a Super NES Classic and a NES Classic, making this the classic gaming space. This space also hosts a headphones listening station.

KIT LIST - Sony KD-49X8305C on a Desalto pole, Genelec AIC25 speakers. A bespoke shelving unit with an integrated minibar. Cambridge Audio streamer (Tidal/Spotify), Schiit Yggdrasil DAC, Schiit Ragnarok amp, and Hifiman HE-1000 headphones. NES Mini, Super NES Mini, PlayStation Classic, Analogue NT Mini, Analogue Super NT.

View from Snug to Lounge

Snug terrace is designed to be our 'cigar terrace'. I smoke one cigar every two months with a good friend, always here with a glass of whisky. Reindeer hides remind us of our native Finland.

0324-120-2copyrkfja.jpg

Kitchen and breakfast bar

I often sit around the breakfast bar with my iPad, reading GAF, or playing Pokemon Go on my phone. TV and front Genelecs in the lounge can be seen on the left side. The coffee machine is integrated on the right hand wall, and it does fantastic cappuccinos.

0308-110-1l9fum.jpg

Breakfast terrace

This is at the front of the lounge. It's very often windy in the City, so getting to have breakfast here is a rare treat.

0308-080-1u4uqh.jpg

Study

This room is mostly for work, and personal management. A bespoke, motorised desk for standing and sitting work. iMac 5K for any desktop games - such as WoW, Starcraft 2 and Dota 2. Framed above the Mac, production drawings of the first Sega Megadrive from June 1989.

0308-040-1mrikv.jpg

KIT LIST - iMac 5K, Genelec AIC25 speakers.

Guest room

I've spent more time of my life in hotels than one should. Our guest room was modelled based on my favourite features of hotels. The bed is large, and has USB and charging slots on the side. A study desk with a comfy chair provides a space for any urgent work. A power jack is hidden under a hatch, so that laptops and iPads can be charged while working. Light blocking curtains darken the room for a good night's sleep.

KIT LIST - bedside Apple docks and USB-C chargers, Genelec AIC25 speakers.

Holy...

Looks like a magazine photo shoot.

This is one half of my game room, the other half has a gaming PC + some nice prints on it

8Pcw6ut.jpg

But I've culled a lot from that collection. It was getting way too big (you can't even see all that I owned there) and so I've stuck to just collecting the games I really care about. There's an old saying about your possessions owning you, and it definitely started to feel that way after a while!
