Famitsu interview with Yoshida-san

- Some new titles they planned to announce at Gamescom had to be cut out of the presentation; one of the reasons why was because they decided to put in new trailers for The Order and Bloodborne

- Sony will be working with other publishers in Japan to help increase the userbase of the PS4 in Japan

- PS4 will be be getting lots of new content at TGS

- Project Morpheus will have content that will be very appealing to the Japanese audience

- Studio that's developing WiLD are the new studio by the people that made Rayman

- Not a single mention of PSV/PS3/PSP

Huge. This is what a lot of people wanted. It seems they are actually going down the list. Now what I want to know is, are these games going to be new ips or smaller studios busting out something fresh? Mostly because I would rather try Japanese inspired indies versus a bunch of Jrpgs, unfortunately.

I believe him. AND I think there will be a lot of Japanese games there. I mean, they honestly don't have a choice. The PS4 flopped in a way I NEVER would have believed there (though I admit I was optimistic). They NEED to show gamers in Japan: "Look at what you can play on our system!"

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I fully expect FFXV to be there, possibly MGS V with a release date, Tekken 7, and much more. They can't afford to hold back if they want to make Japan a factor in their success, and they definitely do.

Ha XD! Of course they are giving the Vita the shaft once again, even SCEJ HATES the platform XD.......what the f*** X(.

I get that the PS4 really needs to be kicking for JP support....but two shows in a row they are ignoring the Vita, NOW they are going to ignore the platform in the only region where it is being successful?

....Well, at least we will get some news out of JP publishers who care about the platform :l. Maybe we will see Persona 3 Vita or something ; I think P4G did well in JP, so that could sell well .

At least.....at least we know now that Gravity Rush 2 (or whatever it is called :l) is on PS4 now . Granted....that isn't a bad thing, just like Tearaway Unfolded, the series getting a bigger audience on PS4 + all the features the DS4 has make the game a good fit on the platform. It is also important to keep in mind that the Gravity Rush 1 was originally a PS3 game and that the touch/gyro controls hindered the game in some ways (the Gravity Slide didn't 100% work well :l), so......the game will be a good fit for PS4 at least.

Even in JP Sony doesn't care about the Vita...talk about messed up X(.

At least the PS4 will be getting more support from JP publishers and hopefully we will see some more gameplay/news on announced 3rd party games (Silent Hills maybe getting a playable demo/trailer, KH3 and FFXV getting on-stage demos, that secret Studio Japan JRPG getting announced, and other stuff ).
