I'll say this..
I went into Silent Hill ready to forgive a fair amount of things because I was psyched that someone had actually put the time and effort into making an awesome set and awesome costumes etc rather than just relying on CG. As far as cheesy dialogue goes, i was actually relieved that it only had a few lines that made me roll my eyes. But I THINK, if you put all that time and effort into making these awesome monsters...I want to see more of them, especially in the hospital. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one that was like "okay...you got past the nurses and then...WHAT? YOU MADE IT? THAT WAS IT? Obviously dark Alessa/The Reaper wanted/needed Rose to find her down there but in that case why have monsters try to kill her at all? In that case shouldn't she just have a free pass to wander around Silent Hill with nothing trying to kill her? Unless Dark Alessa/The Reaper doesn't administer that much control over those creatures..I honestly don't know. But I wanted more of a fight..or adventure, in finding that room. As for the 2 really gory scenes. I don't know, I thought they were really cool..i might have liked more...that said i'm fairly desensitized to gore.
