I want next gen sim city to look like that :D

I was gonna say, I didn't even know there was a Sim City 5 planned. You'd assume so, but there's nothing out there saying so that I've seen.

Fake or not, that's what Simcity 5 should look like.

Atleast this time, I hope it's not a goddamned system hog.

I can't imagine a game looking like that (assuming you can zoom in and it's fully 3D) running on something less than 5 GB of RAM and 1GB of VRAM.

Seriously, that screenshot packs *a lot* of data.

The goddamn truth. Passed 20000 people the game starts to chug down. I guess thats what we get for having every single one of those people have a job, have a route to go to work, etc.

A natural disaster has ravaged your city

I think next time they make the game, they should have two modes : realistic city mode and 'fun' city mode. In Sim City 4 it was so hard to turn a profit sometimes. Plus, sometimes you just want to build your city, and you don't want to worry about all the micromanaging, especially traffic. To have good public transportation in your city, you usually have to have a gameplan before you even start the damned thing, but that turns the game into a chore.

I know, but we've got to set the bar pretty high for developers to really feel the challenge.

I lived in Dubai just before this massive explosion. I couldn't imagine living there now. I've heard traffic is god awful.
