simplest way to disable a car from starting up??

I think OPs trying to paint this picture a lot different than it is in reality.
No i am not honestly. My sister is a freeloader to the max.

Man, I can't even go to the gym. I take care of the car and I can't do anything with it. I goto work in the morning, I pick my mom after work and I come straight home and she takes off right after. its not fair ><

and on top of that we live in the middle of no where so it takes a lot of fuel to get to the main town where the action is

she hasn't paid anything since dec last year. Plus you know how dad's usually prefer daughters over sons right? She sweet talks her way out with him. My dad is also a pussy like me, he cant stand up to her when it comes to arguing and fighting

This is a huge problem, you can't allow her to walk all over you like this. You need to put your foot down, you obviously don't like her very much, so it shouldn't be too painful. If she doesn't agree with it, ditch the car and take the bus or ask a friend for a ride until you can get a car for yourself to not share with her. If she does agree, problem solved. What is she going to do if you tell her you can't afford to pay for the car's gas and insurance by yourself?

You may as well give up and let her do whatever she wants.

in fact, you should just let anyone and everyone take advantage of you, what's the point in resisting? Give me your car and your lunch money OP, I need it

yea you are right, we can't stand up to her. My dad is just too chill...he works hard as fuck, but by the time he comes home he is too tired to fight or argue. He also works like 7 days a week.

A physical fight? That's bad bro, I ain't gonna beat up a girl.

I'm not saying you should kick her ass bro.

There's no reason you should be afraid of a verbal confrontation, she's only feeding off you guys, you don't need her for any kind of support. Her words are harmless, nothing she says can stop you from speaking out your mind.

The worst thing that could come out of this is her fighting you, could you subdue her? cuz it's starting to sound like she's crazy.

yea I think I am going to leave the car with her. A full service is coming up soon and it will cost about $400, let's see if she fixes it. Problem with her though is, she just ignores everything and keeps driving the car. Doesn't matter if the fuel is running low or if the brakepads are rusted and creating an awful noise. She assumes someone else is going to fix it and its not her problem.

Woa dude, no.

You're giving up so much freedom here, you need to stand up for what is right.

You NEED to say something, anything, this needs to stop.

Do you live with your parents still?

How old are you both?

Why don't you talk with your mother about this?

When something really breaks down and the car begins having problems she'll probably be a bit more worried when it comes to those things.

How would this even solve anything? You already know she's not going to do anything about it.

Doubtful. Doesn't sound like she would care, so why would she want to do anything about it herself.

She'll probably just ask daddy or bro to do something.

I think my dad is starting to get fed up with her. He invested a lot of money into her paralegal studies and then marketing her business, and she somehow managed to get suspended by the law society. She also messed up on a case big time (missed a court date and got herself and my dad sued).

My sister used to be exactly like this. Not a care in the would, she would just rely on others to do everything for her. Absolutely terrible. She would ignore everything and my parents couldn't stand to see her not taking care of things she should so they did everything for her.

Thankfully she moved out on her own 8 months ago and it has made her such a better person. Having to do everything on your own and not having anyone do it for you really matures you.

Sounds like you're willing to do anything to get yourself out of a confrontation with her.

My sister is too used to the richy rich lifestyle. The car is right there, the house is nice and clean, mom washes her clothes and prepares food for her. She butters up my dad and gets whatever she wants out of him. Then there is her boyfriend who seems to be a young hardworking lad, I doubt he will tolerate her bimbo ways for too long though

Jesus....please answer:

she is 25 and i am 28. Yes, we both live with our parents.

Why dont you move out and stop dealing with this shit? You're 28 years old, time to leave the nest. God youre gonna end up like my 37 year old uncle that still lives with his mom, come on!!

1) Remove the wheels
2) Fill the tank up with Kool-Aid
3) Burn the car while walking away in slow motion
Who's laughing now?

Once again.....

Why don't you talk with your mother about this?

But that would cost him even more money and if he lives in the middle of nowhere like me there are only renter houses or you have to move to the city and pay like half your income. Besides, maybe he lives at home to take care of a parent. I'm just saying there is nothing wrong with living with your parents.

Sounds to me like his sister needs to be the one moving out.

I can't really move out. I need to support my parents, they are both kinda old. If I am not there for them, then who will be? This is a very complicated issues and I'd rather not comment on it further. I do my best though, I work at the airport, I pay rent and help out with the groceries. I REALLY wanted to go for a computer science + math degree so I could get a better job, but due to negativity in this house, working night shifts and the lack of savings i couldn't goto university.

I pretty much wasted my early 20's since I had extreme anxiety issues. I am so glad I don't have that problem anymore

OP, does your sister get money from your dad? You could always not put gas in it a couple days on your way home so when she goes to take it she has to go get gas and if it's with her own money it would start sending a message. However. if it's through your dad you're better off figuring something else out.

She used to, but not anymore.

Pretty much. If I had a computer science degree today, i'd be so happy. I would be able to live alone, have a girlfriend and support my parents at the same time...but a security guard job can only take you so far

lol this beta thread is hilarious.

OP, just stop being a total bitch. This mentality you have for dealing with difficult situations will get you nowhere in life. You are 28 years old and have to tell yourself that enough is enough. Start acting like a man and adult. LAY DOWN THE LAW! If you can't deal with something as simple as a spoil brat sister how are you going to deal with other problems in life? Stop wishing and START DOING! Don't give me that "oh I am too much of a little bitch" excuse.

You talk as if there's no consequences in life! What if the sister kills the entire family while they sleep because she's upset? I understand the OP and whatever is done to control the sister has to be done in a way she won't suspect anyone in the home or she may kill them. Please think about the consequences of your action before "pretending to be an adult."

this sound a bit juvenile, but there is some truth to this post. There's a big case making headlines in Toronto. This Asian girl hired three hitmen to kill off her parents for inheritance money. She wanted to kill them off because they disapproved of her relationship. Man I was shaking my head when I read that story. One of the hired guns killed her mom, but her dad survived.

fucking crazy, but my sister isn't that batshit crazy yet

anyway thank you all for the suggestions, i will talk to her soon.

Better to die an alpha then live a beta. *cue some fiddy cent*

Seriously though, I am just tired of seeing these type of people who think they have no control of their life. They do! I understand how it is hard to break the mold but they just have to try to do it. This sister problem is simple, just no one wants to "deal with it".

Your sister is a waste of space. Talk to her. Maybe get her ass kicked out. Either way... just deal with her.

Has OP actually elaborated on why he can't tell her she's cut off from the car? Hide the keys? Call the cops on her if she takes it?

Not really...here is basically it from the first page:

I dont want to be super rude or argue with her since she just had a surgery a while back. If she thinks the car is breaking down, she will avoid it

I wont win that argument. Introvert vs complete bitch? Who will win? I keep telling her to refuel but she doesnt listen.

OP mentioned they both live with their parents, and that he pays his dad $500/month for rent and car insurance. So I'm guessing the car is owned by the parents?

Reminds me of when I was a kid and I had to share the GameBoy with my sister. I whined to my parents that she was hogging it and then they just took it away and locked it up. Learned that lesson.

Lay out how she could at least pay for her gas if she's not even going 50/50 on the other payments. If it's actually in the name of your parents and they don't take your side, stop the payments and get your own car or deal with your sis being a mooch since it's not your car to cut someone off from.

lots of excuses here.
and why isn't there a second car in the picture?
a moped? a dirtbike? Segway?

Clearly, if your never going to do anything about this and are gonna be upset about it the whole time, there must be another way!

not like this...
